History and ProgressOriginally the home of well-known New Zealand industrialist Sir Woolf Fisher, the estate once accommodated his Ra Ora Horse stud. It was an internationally renowned breeding stable that hosted visits from the Queen Mother and Prince Charles during earlier royal tours.
Some of the history of the park is preserved in the original Fisher family homestead. Set in large gardens and landscaped grounds, the former home now operates as Fisher House, a bar and restaurant that is also a popular wedding venue.
The Fisher family recognised the potential of the strategically located estate and partnered with Goodman in 2004 to realise their vision of a world class business park that incorporates consistent architectural elements and a sustainable design philosophy.
Since then, development has progressed at pace with the completion of key infrastructure such as the Waiouru Bridge, motorway interchange and associated roading projects being the catalyst for a successful development programme.
Today the estate is around 90% developed with high quality industrial and commercial facilities occupied by leading corporate customers.
