NOTE: The suggested rates of application are designed for typical Australian conditions and such should be used as a guide only. Each farmer’s climatic conditions, water quality, soil types, application processes and practices may differ and therefore necessitate corrections to ensure optimum results. Good agricultural practice requires that application be avoided under extreme weather conditions such as temperatures over 28 0 C, high humidity, frost, rain etc. It is recommended that when applying to a crop or area for the first time, or in combination with other chemicals, a small test area should be sprayed and observed prior to the total spray. Where possible, it is recommended that regular leaf (sap) tests are conducted to determine actual plant nutrient availability during each growth cycle. Soil tests at least once per year are essential. It is also important in cell division, photosynthesis, sugar and starch formation, energy transfer and movement of carbohydrates. THE ROLE OF POTASSIUM Highly mobile in the plant, potassium regulates the turgidity of cells and is therefore important in stomata control and turfgrass strength. Potassium also maintains cell division, formation of proteins, carbohydrates and fats. Deficiencies of potassium generally results in a weakened turfgrass plant that is susceptible to greater incidence of wear during periods of physiological stress. Benefits of PK ULTRA®

Contains high levels of phosphorus to drive energy transfer cycles during peak use periods Contains high levels of potassium to improve turfgrass durability, colour and quality Phosphorus and potassium ratio reduces senescence in turfgrass High concentration reduces quantity of product needed and saves on packaging and freight costs Free flowing formulation makes it easy to decant into spray equipment, mixing tanks and irrigation Can be applied with a wide range pesticides, reducing the number of spray applications needed

THE ROLE OF PHOSPHORUS Phosphorus acts as astructural componment of nucleic acids and phospholipids which form plant membranes. It is also important in cell division, photosynthesis, sugar and starch formation, energy transfer and movement of carbohydrates.

THE ROLE OF POTASSIUMHighly mobile in the plant, potassium regulates the turgidity of cells and is therefore important in stomata control and turfgrass strength. Potassium also maintains cell division, formation of proteins, carbohydrates and fats. Deficiencies of potassium generally results in a weakened turfgrass plant that is susceptible to greater incidence of wear during periods of physiological stress.
