It is extremely gratifying to have the overwhelming support and backing of our past customers. This means so much if not more to us than the cattle. Yeager 8Y26 is a bull that will be a real breed changer. Being one of the more moderate framed bulls in the fall pen, he is still the heaviest. He should be a calving ease bull with that extra shape of muscle and soundness of foot that is not found in many Angus cattle today. We feel he is truly something special and has the potential to be a breed icon. Although this calf is bred to be an REA standout, he continues to surprise us here at HTB with his extraordinary IMF ratio of 125. Yeager has exceeded all of our expectations and should produce cattle that will keep you in the cow business for years to come. HTB will retain all semen inter-est in this bull and are selling pasture rights and possession. Con-gratulations in advance and thanks to the new owners for believ-ing in Yeager’s future. We are convinced it will be a great one.

This BWF SMxAN is a gentle giant. He was used lightly at High Tech Beef (HTB) this past summer on a handful of cows. Lot #53-55 are bred to this powerful herd sire. As a yearling he scanned a 14.60” Ribeye, and was an ADG powerhouse, gaining 6.25 lbs/day in the second half of the test and 4.78 for the entire test.

Mike spotted the matriarch of this cow family, Lot 34, from three pens away in Hinkson’s 2002 Cow sale. She was phe-notypically and structurally as correct as any Angus female in the breed, as proof by herself as a mature cow and her progeny in this sale.
