Engaged With the WorldOur seniors are ready for college and work

During the spring of their junior year, the class of 2017 took part in internships in businesses, non-profits and the arts, statewide and beyond. Students use these experiences to explore their interests and make practical use of the skills and knowledge base they have gained. Their interests are diverse, and 43% chose internships in the sciences, 7% in business, 27% in the arts and 23% in the social sciences.

Thanks to our stellar language programs, a full 20% of our class went on an exchange program, and in turn hosted a student from either South America or Europe. Beyond the personal growth that comes with such an immersive experience, our entire school benefits through these partnered exchanges. Our seniors and the rest of the student body have the chance to get to know these students, and discover common ground and cultural differences.
