• Vehicles inspection - established since 1992. Only
one in Gadong but more VICs are under
construction.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained regularly to meet
roadworthiness and emission standards
• Pre-requisite for renewal of road tax
• Two types of inspection :-
• Type Approval of new vehicles
• Periodic inspection for used vehicles
• Annual inspection for vehicles of age 7 years and
above for private-use vehicles.
• 1 year for heavy vehicles; taxis and buses followed
by every 6-monthly inspection.
