Layton Bluestream Aqueous Metal Degreasing plant
Parts clean in a single chamber using a combination of immersion, spray and ultrasonic agitation + Vacuum and hotair drying options.
Parts are loaded via front door, once door is closed a seal is formed and the holding tank fills with water.
Once the wash cycle is complete water drain's from the chamber and then the wetted parts are dried using vacuumprocess.

Sequence of treatment
Filling of the pump - To prime the pump water is circulated from the tank of the machine and back to the tank of themachine. In the meantime the tank reaches the requested temperature of 80°c
Rinsing pieces - Through the circulation pump water is taken in form tank 1 and pumped through the filter and thein-line heater by the spray injectors into the treatment chamber. A part of the dirt of the pieces is removed. Thisprocedure goes on until reaching the set level in the chamber.
Pre-washing - The removed dirt is now filtered and additional dirt is dissolved. This is done by circulating the waterby the pump from the chamber, through the filters and the in-line heater back to the chamber.
Emptying the treatment chamber - After the end of the pre-cleaning cycle, the water is discharged form the machine.
High level in chamber - Water is pumped by the circulation pump from tank 2 through the spray injectors in to thetreatment chamber passing by the filter and the in-line heater. This procedure carries on until reaching the set levelin the chamber.
Washing cycle - The removed dirt is filtered and additional dirt is dissolved. This is done by circulating the water bythe pump from the chamber, through the filters and the in-line heated back to the chamber.
Emptying the treatment chamber- After the washing cycle the water is discharged from the treatment chamberthrough the filter and pump then pumped to tank 1 until the maximum level is reached. the additional water isdischarged from the machine.
Degreasing with vapours - For degreasing the pieces steam vapours at a temperature of 140°c are introduced to thetreatment chamber directly from the boiler
Emptying the piping - Before staring the drying cycle the piping is emptied from the residual water, furthermore thelevel in tank 2 is restored automatically
Vacuum drying - Through the vacuum pump, air and steam vapours are sucked from the treatment chamber untilreaching an absolute pressure of about 80 mbar in the chamber. After reaching the set pressure of 80 mbar thevacuum is broken to atmospheric pressure.
Drying at atmospheric pressure - By means of the turbine air is circulated through the heater and conveyed to thetreatment chamber. Here the air yields part of its heat and the water evaporates form the treated pieces. The air nowsaturated with steam vapours then passes through a cooler where the water may condense. These heating andcooling cycles of air are repeated until the load is completely dry.
