Helping people concentrate

Noise disturbance is one of the greatest threats to

concentration performance. Recent research done

at the University of California shows that it can

take up to 23 minutes to regain concentration after

being distracted at work.

The combination of Share It and additional acoustic

back panels minimises sound pollution and creates

privacy for comfortable, decisive working.

Share It provides state of the art acoustic

properties. The best results are achieved by

combining an acoustic front with acoustic back

panels in melamine and fabric.

LIFE CYCLE ASSESSMENT

During the product development process, we consider each phase of the life cycle: from materials extraction, production, transport, use and reuse, through the end of life.

Thanks to the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method, Steelcase quantified Share It environmental impacts to set the stage for further improvements.

This method, based on ISO 14040 and 14044 and selected by The European Union for environmental evaluation, allows us to quantify the environmental impact of our products throughout their entire lifecycle.

CERTIFICATIONS

To show continuous improvements, we communicate Share It environmental performance through voluntary environmental labels and declarations.

MATERIALS

57% recycled materials, by weight (38% pre-consumer + 19% post-consumer).

Product is PVC-free.

Low formaldehyde emissions of wood based panels according to ISO 16000 (<20µg/m3).

Packaged with 80% recycled cardboard that uses water-based inks without solvents.
