Partner Requirements

Driver Interface(s)

• The solution should operate on the Android operating system and support third party applications on the same device. (Both on and off market apps)

• Drivers should only have to interface with a single device in the future so, SSO should be supported.

Driver Interfaces – Mobile

• In addition to Android support the solution is capable of:– Supporting English, French and Spanish– Support security policies in line with Sysco

In the cab – Non-functional requirements

• Operates in the temperatures and climates of our environments and markets.– -50° to 140° F operating temps.

• Is rugged or installed to operate within the elements of Sysco operation.– IP67 or greater.

• Installation of all equipment should not take longer than 30 minutes – All equipment must be mounted safely to prevent flying

objects in the event of an incident.

In-vehicle (Login)

• Driver has the ability to login and track activity, such as on-duty leveraging the following methods.– Login on driver terminal• User name• Password

– On-premise login through HOST system.

Login

• Login on STS terminal triggers login on ELD and ADP/time and attendance.– Registers as on-duty not driving and list entry and source

on the RODs.– Synchronizes across all three systems.– Edits should be synchronized with full audit trail.

Login validation

• System validates the following resources against the plan in Roadnet.– Driver ID– Route ID– Trailer ID– Truck ID– Date/Time– DC start/ DC end

Driver Home Screen

• The mobile user interface supports a Sysco defined list of applications in an easy to select format. The following must be 1 click accessible:– Login/Logout– Driver Log– Inspection– Vehicle performance – Navigation– Tasks / Deliveries / Pickups– My Performance (All performance attributes against plan)

• System is able to present the route plan DC through N including all stop attribute.– Route ID

Driver – Route Management - Nav

• Provides integrated navigation– All stops without driver interaction– All commands available through voice – Voice commands are loud enough for the environment. – Routing is accurate to the delivery location, not the mailing

address. – Navigation is capable of leveraging both truck and non-

truck routing based on vehicle configuration.

Driver Route Automation

• System offers automated status notifications based on geospatial data and telematics data.– Arrival– Departure– DVIR (Sygma)– Wait times

System synchronizes these events across STS and the ELD system. All events are accessible through web-services.

Driver Messaging

• The solution supports several messaging types:– Canned messages (Configurable)– Free form messages– Picture messages

• All messages support attachments.• All messages support a text to speech option.• Tracking of all messages should be kept in the mobile and

HOST for 30 days.

Driver – Compliance • System accurately provides:– Driver Hours of Service that comply with 395.15 as defined

by the FMCSA.• System is able to provide pre and post trip inspections and

comply with the regulations as defined by FMCSA in the regulation 396.11

• System offers a full service IFTA calculating and filing solution. • System prevents use by driver while vehicle is in motion.

• The Dashboard provides “Drill down” functionality and be consistent with the KPIs managed by Sysco.

• The System supports custom reporting with a simple report creator. Certain canned reports are available. Custom reports are saved and published to users based on user roles.

• All reports are available through scheduled reporting.

HOST Reporting - Continued

• Reports are available online and may be configurable by user role.– Highlight compliance violations for a safety manager, while

not highlighting them in a DOT audit user role. – Reports are exportable to .XLS, .PDF, .HTML and other

formats.– All report data (Calculated) should be available through a

WSDL.

• The solution supports many types of sites for use in reporting, mapping and organizations.

• Sites are user defined• Attributes are customizable • Sites offer import / export features.

HOST – Resource Management • The solution supports configurable resource types.– Trucks– Trailers – Drivers– DCs– Clients– Maintenance facilities– Fuel facilities – HOST users

• All resources are exposed for add/edit/delete through web-services.

• The system offers import export features.

HOST – Speed Management

• Speeding iscalculated by posted road-speed and not fixed values.

• All dashboards and scorecards are weighted based on speeding by road.

• Weighting is configurable based on road type and severity of violation.

• Speed reporting is in the main HOST and not require additional subscriptions of logins.

HOST – Trip Management • The solutions offers the ability for a HOST user to track progress of

a route as defined in Roadnet. The user is able to view routes being accomplished ontime, at risk for delay or delayed with time variations for each.

• The route performance is easily visible through the use of color

• Route alerts are driven by progress and compliance to the route and available to HOST users based on election and policy.

HOST – Failure Management

• The system should be able to detect outages and issue notification to operations. Failures should include diagnostics and audits for the following:– OBC (Onboard)– GPS (Onboard)– ECM (Onboard)– Mobile (Driver interface)

Failure management for the HOST should be managed directly by the vendor with an acceptable escalation process. (To be covered in the SLA)

INTEGRATIONIn vehicle

Integration – Mobile (STS)

• The solution offers a flexible mobile framework that would allow for single sign on (SSO) between the ELD solution and the existing STS POD solution running on a separate mobile device (MC 9590).

• The Mobile shares event data and prevent multiple sources of truth on critical data such as:– Login / logout– Arrival / departure– Resources– Product and OS&D – Route plan

Integration – Mobile (Other)

• The solution offers integration to commercial navigation products that provide seamless non-driver initiated routing through the route plan.

INTEGRATION HOST to existing and future systems

Integration – HOST (Routing)

• The solution offers two(2) way integration to route planning products like Roadnet. The integration supports:– Downloading or a route plan– Validation of resource assignments – Adding and removing of resources – Passing of actuals (arrival, departure, cases,

OS&D..)– HOS status

Integration HOST – Maintenance

• The solution is able to share information with the existing Sysco maintenance tools. – VIN– Odometer– Fault codes– DVIR data– MPG data

Integration – HOST (Time and Attendance)

• The solution is able to interface with all time and attendance systems (ADP) and synchronizes source of truth records with the following systems:– ADP– STS– EDL (Proposed solution)

• Events are logged and audit trails for driver logs available in the ELD system.

Device Integrated Applications – (Mobile Device Management)

• The system offers a consolidated view of mobile assets under management and provide SSO to the MDM solution. User roles will dictate level of access and permissions but high-level system health information should be made available to quickly identify system and user errors. – Battery life– Processor load– Software versions and releases – Lost of stolen device location

Integration – Device Integrated Applications (Distracted Driving)

• The solution is integrated to a leading distracted driving platform and supports the ability to report on use of Telematics mobile device. – Determining vehicle movement – Determining type of use– Blocking device usage while vehicle is moving
