HIERARCHY OF DRIVING FORCES FOR HUMAN BEHAVIOUR AND ACTIONS

AND EVOLUTION OF HUMAN SOCIETY, ORGANISATION, ECONOMY

What have been the driving forces and how have humans, human society, economy and

organisations evolved historically?

Fear forces you to keep safe, keep stable and keep awake. Fear is not a driver of progress. It

forces sleeping/half-awake people to keep from slumber and stay alert, stay alive.

Desire is a driver of movement - but the kind of movement that is not self-directed but

driven by various unconnected stimuli that come from outside. A person has just come out

of slumber - He is stimulated by the sensing an opportunity to indulge in pleasures and

experiments beyond mere survival.

Ambition begins to happen when you start choosing and prioritizing between different

desires, direct these desires and a pattern begins to emerge. The patterns slowly rise to aconnected stream of desires in one direction. Desire stimulates desire and then these

desires slowly build up in one direction leading to a tornado of ambition: raw power, raw

power conscious of only one objective

Though Ambition and Desire gives you success - Why is it said that you gain exponential

success only when you do something that you at the core of your spirit deeply love to do or

intend to do?

this Vision, how does it emerge and how does it begin to drive us? To understand, we would

need to go through the complete evolutionary cycle as well as the context that

encompasses it.

FEAR: SURVIVAL OF THE ABLE

Fear has served only purpose in evolution. It forces people to keep from slumber and stay

alert, stay alive. In the world of fear, the only purpose is to survive in a hostile world by

gaining some kind of advantage over the hostile external conditions. You can call one kind of

growth. In the feudal ages and the ages of kings and landlord: a half-awakened society in

psychological slumber needed insensitive, ignorant, clumsy, stupid bullies in order to strike

fear in hearts of men to force them to move.

The entity grows as a result of struggle with the hostile external conditions - it attains to

some crude level of perfection and learns how to survive. When the entity struggles,

struggles and finally gains an initial phase of perfection in the art of survival, it finally has

time to sit down and think of the next step. Survival was the driving purpose then and the

first barrier to a free life has been overcome. Fear forces a man in slumber to open his eyes

and in the beginning the effect of the slumber is too strong - he needs an extra push to just

to wake up. When the eyes are completely open and he begins to observe the world outsidehim. His eyes awaken to a brand new world filled with new opportunities, full excitement

and adventure. This very world was in front of him before. The eyes in his body were open,

but the eyes of his mind were closed. And now the eyes in his mind are beginning to flutter

here and there.

The Bully of the Feudal Age:

The bully is stupid, crude, blunt inside and outside and even crude in appearances has only

force and a need to subjugate at his disposal. Bully has accumulated power as a condition of

chance and does not know the real meaning and worth of the power and position he holds.But the driving is rather crude, like the strength of the Ogre. The Ogre was a crude

compromise and often the ogre turned against the very purpose he was created. His

strength is borne due his ability to be insensitive just like the orche who can harm and

create pain without guilt if someone breaks his imposed law. Today the Ogre-the Bully is

obsolete and has to be fully replaced by law, systems, policies, procedures and regulations.

The key word here is attaining to Stability, Safety and Security: and only after attaining to it

can you truly afford to start becoming sensitive, start experimenting and start living.

BEGGININGS OF DESIRE: GROWTH OF THE AMBITION AND THE POWERFUL

A new life starts and though there is no vision, there is lack of an understanding - the entity

feels a need to experiment. He is stimulated by the new conditions - he feels excited,

passionate and is suddenly stimulated by new desires and pleasures beyond mere survival.

But his new life is a phase of experimentation, sometimes unconnected, sometimes without

meaning, getting pulled here and there with myriad strings of desires stimulated by the

thousand stimuli outside. He becomes aware and beings to see, hear, feel, touch and

perceive not only in sense but also make sense of these perceptions.

How do you control the actions of such a person who is awake, observing and capable of

experiencing all the external stimuli but incapable of the being connected with his true

individuality and withstanding his ground against the very disrupting overpowering

influence of these disconnected stimulus?

Nature will now manipulate them by stimulating desires and making them move for themoment in the direction they want to move. Man living in the realm of pure desire is initially

incapable of self-organisation. His experiments with the world outside him through a long

process of gains and losses, passions and pains - he slowly discovers that not all stimulation

is friendly. He begins to choose - and he rises to a connected stream of desires in one

direction. We call that ambition. Desire stimulates desire and then these desires slowly build

up in one direction leading to a tornado of ambition: raw power, raw power conscious of

only one objective, fulfilment in one dimension and unconscious of all other dimensions.

The man has suddenly learnt to direct all his energies and focus them at one point although

to the detriment of other aspects of his life, but he chooses to be unconscious of all the

other aspects and closes his eyes to them.

The Narcissist driver of today's human society [Economies, organisations, political

establishments]:

As society evolved, economy evolved and merit became more important than accidental

luck (Birth, Race, Community and Class) - men needed to be manipulated, duped, convinced

or incentivised in order to be controlled before they could be bluntly forced and raw forcecould not be unleased openly in a more sophisticated environment. The Narcissist was born.

A brute orche and bully at heart but a most sophisticated and eye-pleasing angel in

appearance. The Angel wants you to admire her, worship her and idolize her and so will she

put forth herself as long as the day when you can read between the lines and resist her

control and the angel resorts to other means and finally in a fit of anger and a loss of

alertness one day reveals her true appearance. The angel is intelligence and can atleast read

and master the code of pleasing appearances but does not intend to follow these for the

truer reasons. This is one step ahead than the bully who is totally unconscious and ignorant.

The Narcissist can read and understand, but only appearances and not the reality behind it.

Narcissist driver is unidirectional- one track mind. He is so unconscious of other dimensions

other than the love for his own self and the tremendous need for control and order under

his reigns that it becomes the very purpose of his life and he is able to drive things as all his

energy goes only in one direction. The more refined narcissist might be having some ideal in

some dimension depending on the stage of his evolution. But he is crudely conscious of

other dimensions and only the outward appearances of the expressions of these dimensions

and is able to adopt or fake these outward expressions incase if they bring him the one thing

he loves so much - admiration or fear, attention and control.

The narcissist is a master of appearances, he is a great salesman. Narcissist is a master of the

mind, He can speak well, convince and excite people with his oratory and grace and lay

down grandiose visions. Yes he has developed intelligence sufficient enough to envision, but

he gets satisfied and laid down as soon as he has sold it to the ordinary outside. And he has

a tendency to distort his vision in order to receive appreciation and admiration if his vision

does not satisfy their crude sensibilities. And so slowly his capacity to envision drains away

unless he chooses to evolve.

Narcissist will need admirers who are enthused by his vision. Narcissist will prove to be a

success if he is surrounded by men of obssessionists who are enthused by his visions and

realize it through untiring effort to the last level of detail. Majority of today's drivers are

narcissist or are actually led to become by the current system. The narcissist mind is a

compromise invented by the universal intelligence. The human society was not evolved

enough for any group of people to achieve a balanced multi-dimensional success. So we

have something like an experiment and to achieve complete success in that experiment in

one dimension, you have to become unconscious of all other dimensions. The one minded

pursuit of control, the one minded pursuit of market share, the one minded pursuit ofprofitability, the one minded pursuit of crushing competitors, the one minded pursuit of

bringing out an innovative product. And these are smart people and it is easy for them to

fall in love with themselves.

Focus, one pointed direction by becoming unconscious and insensitive to everything else

The trick is connectedness vs isolation. In order to not be affected by the myriad pulls of

nature, you can be conscious of them, work on them and master them or else be

unconscious of everything else except what you are in touch with. This leads to the firsterror in the process of attaining self-organisation.

Its like in the movies - Trolls, Ogres are war machines - huge, insensitive and powerful. They

feel no pain either on getting hurt themselves or hurting, torturing others. But is not much

more difficult and a struggle for a human being, more intelligent, sensitive with kindness to

battle and kill. It seems as we proceed from unconsciousness to consciousness, there is a

fall, kills the capacities that you have primarily due to insensitivity - a pain in the beginning

and an immense struggle. It seems half consciousness without mastery is a bad thing to

have & Ignorance is bliss.

Humans have become conscious of their existence and are trying to consciously evolve in

some way or the other unlike the animal, but the consciousness is still limited and not

strong enough to bear the strains of evolution in multiple dimensions simultaneously. So it

has to choose - either by applying attention in only one direction or forced to do so by

external conditions.

The ability to sense various external stimuli, become conscious of them and chose to be

influenced and be driven by the ones which are conducive to our central desire is the key

here. The central desire can be considered an Ambition a disfiguration of real Purpose.

A Beautiful Progressive Multi-Dimensional World

So there are dimensions, innumerable dimensions whose permutations and combinations

create existence in its multi-dimensional manifestation - its colours, flavours, variety. All

these dimensions are as real, as true, as important, as hallowed as any other. Only in the

specific situations or conditions does the view from one dimension weight heavier than

other. In another situation or condition may be scales could be reversed.

Every vision, every opinion, every assumption, every viewpoint, every individual no matter

how crude, how stupid and incomplete reflects in some crude way or the other more or less

imperfect or distorted expression of a dimension of truth, existence or whatever you might

choose to call. And we must not concentrate on the immediate expression, the appearances

as they are deceptive. We should straightaway try to have a deeper penetrating vision into

the dimension that the movement represents. And climb higher from there and integrate

the view with the view of the dimensions in which we currently breathe and live in. In easy

terms this can be analogous to borrowing from the other his eyes, no matter how imperfecthis vision is. May be he is conscious of a dimension which we are unconscious of. Not that

he is right or we are wrong or we are right and he is wrong. Its making our understanding of

the equation of life more complete and comprehensive. This is wisdom. Wisdom is

multidimensional; knowledge is expression in one dimension. Only wisdom can bring a truer

and higher balance. Otherwise our strength will be like the strength of the Ogres - crude and

borne of insensitivity and lack of life and vision, unlike the strength of the warrior angels.

You can learn nothing from the bully there is definitely something to learn from the

Narcissist. Very few people are perfect in appearance and although the Narcissist does not

care about the reality behind the appearances he depicts, you can. You can observe theappearances, understand the truth behind them and discover the more evolved reason

behind the existence of these appearances. This is classic reverse engineering. Slowly you

start developing vision and realize that the narcissist is all you have got to learn from and

slowly you discover that you yourself were a narcissist with lesser extreme traits. Narcissism

today at the current evolution of human society is the centre of all what we do.

Path ahead of the Narcissist

The path ahead of the narcissist is a steeper path of evolution but not beautiful or

encouraging enough. It is less noisy, less imposing and less wish-fancy fulfilling. You nolonger have the stupid tendency to always do what you feel like doing, like doing and

impulsively driven to do - but you know what should be done, you have the vision and

higher balance and you actually fall and not rise. The rise is in the real and the fall is in

appearance. Its like suddenly like your cataract is cured and the scene is not as beautiful as

you wanted it to be. The dimension you measured progress is not at all the real dimension

and only one of the many others, and you are disheartened because blind single minded

pursuit of progress in one direction has actually taken you backwards. The equation has

changed; your gains in one dimension are more than lost by damages in other dimensions.

The war against failure has suddenly become much more difficult and never ending.

Chances of success might be very dim but you slowly start discovering the power of WILLwhich is under the influence of a Vision.

EMERGENCE of, INVASION by, and GROWTH OF VISION

How does vision emerge and on the road from fear to desire to ambition and then to

aspiration and Vision what is the nature of the movements that proclaims the emergence

of a vision

It is the capacity of the any part of ones personality to be excited, enthused, taken over and

being driven to action by something new: expression of something which is more perfect,

more beautiful, more powerful, more true, more transparent, more streamlined in short

more evolved in any aspect.

Different people are oriented or conscious of different dimensions of evolution and they get

excited and then enthused by different flavours of progress. And so one begins to get an

orgasmic joy when he is being taken over and being driven by that vision which is slowly

trying to emerge

This excitement is the excitement of the spirit and not the petty satisfaction of a short term

desire. This excitement is not contained, it is expansive and aspirational and it is open to

the world of limitless opportunities it is excited and moved by the higher or evolved

possibilities. Its like a dream or rather a vision of the possibilities that can express in the

future.

You cannot plan to let the vision emerge. You are taken over by enthusiasm over something

or a possibility which is bigger than you, higher than you and you aspire to evolve towards

that which takes over you and aspire that it somehow expresses, someday the dream mightcome true.

Brilliance of the Dream I AM EXCITED AND INVIGORATED BY THIS NEW POSSIBILITY

That dream is self-less (Its actually not self-less, its self-more, something which is much

more than the boundaries of the limited self we all perceive in our daily lives) - and

somehow you are too intoxicated by the brilliance, magnificence and joy of that vision that

you in the effect of that intoxication forget your petty desires and temporarily come out ofthe habit of viewing any initiative from the curtain of personal gain and loss. It is indeed

intoxication. The intoxication coming from the brilliance of the vision is what drives you

then. After sometime you might lose that state, but again and again depending on how

evolved and sensitive your personality is to higher and evolved perceptions of that which

surrounds you you will regain that state.

Ambition is truly a distortion of Vision you somewhere are developing a capability to be

uplifted by a vision, but then you are much habituated to viewing everything from an eye-

glass of personal gain and loss: that which can be measured, accumulated and preserved

with time. Also you are very much a slave to appreciation and acknowledgement by the

outside in return for love, fear, respect, admiration, dependence or whatever you wish. And

so the vision begins to be distorted the very moment it starts emerging.

Its like when you paint, you must not have love for any one colour or aversion for any other

colour in order to be really beautiful. The degree to which you have this freedom to base

your choice not on preferences, opinions, rules, aversions defines the degree of creativity.

Lesser you options to play with the lesser the probability you have to create something

new, truly exceptional and evolved than what you are usually habituated to create.

Power of WILL

Real bliss, hapiness, creativity never touches the life of the ordinary man. He lives in

constant state of fear and manipulation by the external world through stimulation of

desires. Fear and Desires are the driving forces of entities that get lost and drowned in the

world of deceptive appearances.

Sexual activity and sexual orgasm is probably the only set of instances when an ordinary

man gets creative - he creates a baby. And the creativity is an unconscious creativity and is

in a real sense - nature's creativity and the man is just driven to do it. But Orgasm and

pleasure follows.

Orgasm need not be only sexual:

Orgasm always follows creativity Orgasm can by physical - to bring an organism into this world Orgasm can be emotion, psychological

Emotional/Psychological Orgasm can rise for an creative aspiration to bring to existence a

new art, new music, new ideas, new systems, new designs, etc

And that is the where the power of WILL finds its fulfilment - by providing a more subtle and

deeply fulfilling orgasm that any petty desire can ever provide. Where effort and exertion is

a pleasure because you are enthused and moved by a vision and effectuation of what you

have envisioned but does not yet exist.

You donot speak in order to be appreciated You donot provide an explanation on the basis of the probability of its acceptance You donot create a new art, music, design on the basis of its acceptability You understand what value is - try to understand value in its multiple dimensions And you get into a state of orgasm while in the process of unfolding value by

creating

TOTAL DEDICATION AND FOCUS and ABSOLUTE ONE-POINTEDNESS

Example: Whether I will be able to do it in my life-time, whether I get the credit or not this

must be expressed, it would be a great misfortune if mankind is devoid of this brilliance.

This is what makes you capable of total-focus and total dedication and total-selflessness

that true creativity demands.

Creativity is obstructed when we start compromising based on egoistic demands. When we

accept that which is not perfect, not as beautiful, as powerful, as true, as brilliant as what

we have envisioned but which appears to be so to the untrained eye. You trade the

orgasmic joy of the vision and dreams in return for the time-bound and outside-dependant

excitement experienced on acknowledgement and appreciation form the imperfect outside.

And sometime you act counter to your vision or distort in order to serve the crude

sensibilities of other people and receive their acknowledgement, acceptance and

appreciation. And sometimes just to get money - you trade.

Your vision is weak while in budding state, not because the vision is weak but the external

world is still not perfect enough to understand it, withstand it or the vision has not been

completely expressed. It is not the fault of the vision; its the fault as humans who are not

perfect enough to transcribe the vision as we saw it in its complete brilliance.

Principles for sustaining and nourishing the vision:

One cannot tell anybody how to develop the capacity to get uplifted by a Vision -Just as one cannot teach how to be ambitious to anyone who is not - It depends on

your own evolution - in the organisation of this universe where everyone has equal

opportunity to evolve. And this promotion/evolution in the hierarchy of life cannot

be gained by treachery, deceit, politics, short-cuts and quick-fixes unlike career

growth in an organisation. Every experience you have in life, every moment is an

opportunity to evolve here. Here no one judges - evolution is metamorphosis. You

dont need a super butterfly to tell a caterpillar when it can evolve into a butterfly - it

just metamorphoses just as we all will one day. Only if we stop feeling afraid of

change and welcome it and be eager for a better life an uplifting life, deeply fulfilling

life, evolved life instead of just a comfortable life, pleasant life. And just as I cannotteach how a blind man to see - one can only teach him not to crush his eyes the first

time he begins to see in his usual stark black world and feels threatened by the

change.

The vision in the beginning needs to be nourished, protected not be revealed toeverybody or randomly and be kept secret. A simple doubt, cynicism,

discouragement will evoke the lower parts of your personality which will invade and

destroy all which has been built in your mind

The conditions which stimulate the vision should be repeated: [A word of cautionhere - Innocent and pure conditions:

There are harsh and crude methods, but any methods which result in permanent

destruction of the delicate balance of the brain must be avoided. Specifically

substance abuse: it will act on the areas of the brain which are responsible for

egoistic drives initially: fear and desire and then it slowly starts by killing ambition -

then drives you to slumber. Slowly brain functions start deteriorating - ability to

understand, assimilate, think, analyse, interpret, structure, organise, drive - resulting

in disintegration and destruction of your brain and mental abilities.

It is definitely not preferable to use some mysterious fuel that gives the initial thrust

and speed - but corrodes, disintegrates and destroys your engine as you continue to

use it: Mind and Brain is engine of the Human Body] Nature, Music, architecture,living/work space design, company, visuals, quotes are examples - anything that

suites your unique individuality and direction

Articulate the vision [Express it permanently] on paper, sound, visuals, art, design,words or anything that can be preserved slowly. The next time the vision invades; it

will add up cumulatively and not have to start afresh. Also all will not be lost as a

result of forgetfulness and a loss of vision consciousness.

Refrain from falling prey to the impulse of getting personal benefit out of the visionLower parts of our personality will jump on the vision and try to exploit it, distort it

and use it to their selfish ends and end up destroying the vision [Just a beautiful

innocent virgin should not be left alone without protection in a city of unregenerate

unconscious filthy and lusty ruffians] It is not a moral thing - it is just that as soon as

you get into the mode for taking credit for your vision, amassing all the personal

gains you can by its proceeds, the vision starts to wither away and stops from getting

deeper, more concrete. The part of your intelligence that envisions is too subtle to

bear the grossness of when your lower personality starts invading and looting what it

has built - it simply starts retiring.

If you give yourself wholeheartedly to the vision - the vision will slowly carve out abest way for manifestation instead of allowing the lower parts of your personality to

invade and break it down. Or else any personal benefit from the vision might be

gained from the vision on the principle of driving a greater sustainability [In order to

create external conditions, where you can continue to envision and express for a

large period of time without disruption]

Handling the Gap between Vision and the Reality & Leading the Ascent

The narcissist also does have a capacity to envision. But he is too satisfied with his masks

and throws up early at that point and becomes satisfied.

The most effective people are those who can "hold" their vision while remaining

committed to seeing current reality clearly Courage is simply doing whatever is needed

in pursuit of the vision

Peter SengeTo describe the process of throwing up [or ejaculating the vision energy]:

On one end, we have the Vision at the highest which tends to pull at us, while wehave our reality which offers some resistance or gravity and this creates a tension

[Creative tension - Read Robert Fritz]

Now there can be two responses as Fritz says:1. Lower the reflection of the vision to gain immediate quick wins, get credit,

get recognition

2. Have the patience, perseverance, maturity to handle the complexity andkeep striving

You can compare the lowering of your Vision to Ejaculation. [I use this comparison for the

purpose of visualizing the pattern and this does not mean that these two phenomenon are

the same] As you rise higher and higher, there is a momentum which leads to a build up -

and the weaker parts of your personality which start pressurizing to give up and release andthe stronger parts to keep on.

It is the creative tension or rather the Vision energy which keeps you moving. Fritz creative

tension is created by the Ego which perceives the Vision as too far-fetched. The Ego cannot

make true sense and understand the true meaning and value of the Vision. The only

purpose of the ego is to en-cash the Vision as immediately as possible for petty temporary

gains. To the ego, these gains are about how it appears to or is perceived by the external

world and not really related to true evolution and growth.

You lower the vision and the tension created by the ego lowers, but so does the visionenergy, so does the orgasmic energy and joy that drive your endeavour and there is fall

from paradise to earth so as to say. You at this point have ejaculated and hence obstructed

any further creative orgasmic build-up. The possibility of orgasmic joy of your real self has

been sold out in return for petty excitement of the ego.

I donot mean here that in actual work we donot need quick wins and immediate gains. The

decision of quick wins and immediate tangible gains should come out of the Vision, the real

self and not the Ego.

same time and still retain the ability to function

- Jim CollinsWhen the vision is slowly getting built up, gaining momentum, getting concrete:

Quick wins, immediate growth can be attempted but as a tangible/visible prequel tothe final metamorphosis and not as a distortion or a compromise.

The aim of the quick win and immediate manifestation is not to gain attention,recognition, credit, petty temporary gains but to bring the ground reality closer to

the final metamorphosis - make it a little easier, little more possible, to convince and

engage people in the endeavour.

The Human Spirit will not invest itself in a Compromise

- Robert FritzYour true Human spirit will not invest in a compromise, but your Ego will drive the

endeavour and when the Ego drives there is no commitment but moving here and there in

the pursuit of fear and desire. As long as you are in desire, there is no escape from fear - as

the possibility of not converting your desire will give birth to fear. And the ability of the Ego

is linear and rational and bound to the past process oriented. The Ability of your real

human spirit is magical, exponential and futuristic it opens your doors to the world of

limitless opportunities and is not bound by the processes of the past.

And hence Narcissist tendencies make one impotent when it comes to magical, exponential,transformational growth and evolution. The Narcissist can only live and excel in the

processes of the past with progression but which can only be linear.

But society will evolve and people will evolve and one day the Narcissist will be obsolete.

What will follow?

The road after the envisioning might not be easy, full of obstacles. The narcissist is only

interested in selling his masks and fulfilling his petty desires or somewhat greater ambitionof gathering power and control over others. He is too busy with the above tasks and is left

with little time; effort and energy to spend in the creative build up.

As long as majority of the people in the world are driven only by appearances and masks -

the Narcissist will prove to be a success here and there in the short term.

Who will rule the world - Who will lead?

Will he really be interested in ruling or leading or will he be more interested inbringing to reality a vision.

And the leading and ruling will automatically come as a result of people whocoagulate around him inspired, moved and enthused by his ideal

The vision is that which will rule, the idea, the thought is that which will rule The Leader will just make himself a perfect instrument of what is trying to express

through him

The Leader will be rebel, rebel against the bondages of the past - but an intelligentrebel

He will not want to destroy the past - knowing very well that is a button is faulty: theentire shirt does not need to be torn up.

The Leader would be in a constant state of Orgasm coming in from his getting closerand closer to his vision
