2 engine, this grinder handles big diameter

wood and large, brushy debris with ease.

Plus, its innovative design overlaps the

infeed and discharge conveyors to reduce

spillage and cleanup time.

The HG8000 also features dual-sided

reversible hammers and cutter blocks that

provide incredible cutting performance,

lower maintenance, and nearly double

the life of single-sided designs. The unit’s

innovative design extends to the

replaceable mill liners that fully line the

sides, floor, and underside of the feed roller

carrier. These liners protect structural

integrity and can be easily replaced when

their wear limit is reached.

Large infeed At 50" (127 cm) high by 71.5"(182 cm) wide, the HG8000 hasthe largest infeed opening of anyhorizontal grinder on the market.Plus, it features a low-speed, high-torque infeed conveyor drivemotor for powerful feeding and a reinforced, heavy-duty alloy conveyor chain. Operators are able to process greater volumes of material and larger product usually reserved for a tub grinder.

Series II duplex drum With reversible hammers and cutter blocks, this drumoffers nearly double the life of single-sided designs, producingoptimum cutting performanceand simplified maintenance.

Wide loadout conveyorAt 18 to 22' (5.5 to 6.7 m) discharge height and 66" (168cm) wide, this loadout conveyoris the widest around. This allows for greater volume of processing with less chance ofspillage or plugging.

SmartGrindThree preset grinding settings: aggressive, general, and regrind reduce operator training time and result in more consistent end product. A fourth setting can be customized for specific product needs.

Replaceable anvil The heavy-duty anvil structure features a 2" (5 cm) top plate with a1" (2.5 cm) replaceable wear surface. The entire anvil is replaceablefrom ground-level in the event of damage from a contaminant. Allof the hardware used to secure the anvil is located outside themachine away from the material wear path.

Dual planetary feed roller driveFor added torque and greaterpull-in power, the large feedroller features dual planetarydrive motors.

Screen hoistThe on-board screen handler system is unique to the HG8000 and comeswith either a manual or optional pneumatic hoist to help operators save timewith easy screen changes.

Remote controlIn addition to most machinefunctions, the discharge heightis adjustable via remote control,a feature unique to the industrythat helps keep operators productive and the machineworking efficiently.
