After the 2017 record-breaking edition, Hardware

Forum, the trade fair and conference of the

hardware industry, will be back from 19- 20

September 2018 at Mi.Co, Milano Centro

Congressi.

Many novelties are expected for the fourth

edition of the event that is increasing its strategic

importance in the Italian market every year.

The Italian market of the hardware industry

differs from the rest of Europe due to its

distribution structure and its sales channels;

hardware stores still represent 64% of the total

value, while large-scale retailing, both specialized

and non-specialized, represents 33% of this value

and e-commerce the remaining 3%, a rapidly

growing value. The industry generates revenues of

approximately 10 billion and can rely on 11,000

sales points, as well as paint shops, building

material stores, stores selling technical tools,

for a total of 40,000 stores that sell hardware

products and related services.

Hardware Forum will be held in the North Pavilion

of Mi.Co, a functional area, close to Bricoday

pavilion. The two pavilions are directly connected,

to offer the market a single great event.

Exhibitors will have the chance to meet a

numerous, qualifi ed and diversifi ed audience,

while visitors will benefi t from a complete offer

of commercial proposals. This is precisely the

strongpoint of the event: Hardware Forum, thanks

also to the partnership with Bricoday, is the

only multichannel event in the Italian hardware

industry and it is able to bring together in a

single event the different distribution channels:

traditional, professional, e-commerce and large-

scale retailing.
