The Woodway Word
HEWLETT-PACKARD
We are a church family dedicated to making and nurturing disciples by sharing the love of Jesus Christ!
While the moms are away on the Women’s Retreat, a
great event for families to participate in and
support is Unbound’s 5k Run. Our WIM circles have
a relationship with Unbound and have learned how
they support those affected by human
trafficking in our community.

The prayer ministry of our con-gregation is a large network of ministers, staff and laity part-nering together in response to specific prayer requests. Re-
quests may be made by completing a prayer card located in the pew rack, calling the church office or sending information to our e-mail prayer group. Information is transmitted via e-mail and later compiled weekly for the Mon-day Morning Prayer Group.
Below are names of members and others who covet your prayers:
If you have loved ones serv-ing in the military, please contact the church office so they can be added to this list.

Are you searching for something more? Tired of running in circles, but not really living life with direction, purpose or passion? It's pretty easy to get caught up in the drama of classes, relationships, family, and work. Our lives are filled with distractions that take us away from living a life with Christ. We try to fill the emptiness inside us with mindless TV, meaningless chatter, stimulants, alcohol, too many activities or other irrelevant stuff. We run away from life and from God. Lent is a great time to “repent” — to return to God and refocus our lives to be more in line with Jesus. It’s a 40-day trial run in changing your lifestyle and letting God change your heart.

Are You Someone Who Would Receive the Care of a Stephen Minister: Are You…
• A man like Adam who was cut off from all that gave meaning to life and needed someone to remind him of
God’s promise.
• A man like Noah who witnessed the destruction of everything around him and needed someone to wait with
him for a new day.
• A woman like Naomi who had lost her loved ones and
needed someone to hear her sorrow and pain.
• A woman like Esther who was faced with a major decision and needed someone who could listen to her concerns and offer
encouragement.

Mission Trip 2020
March Wednesday Night Series
We were all designed to ask questions. As toddlers, we constantly asked, "Why?" But as we get older, asking too many questions is often discouraged — especially when those questions are about our faith. But in this series, we'll talk about how having questions (and even doubts) about God might not be as scary or as shameful as we thought, because
• you're not alone in your questions,
• God doesn't shame us for our questions,
• our questions don't always get answered,
• and Godly people can help us with our questions.
HS Girls Small Group
