CONFESSION OF FAITH All Worshippers

A blend and modification of The Apostles’ Creed and The Nicene Creed

We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth, the Sovereign of the universe. We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only Unique Son of God the Father Almighty. He is True God of True God. He is the Word made flesh. He is Light of light. He is Life of life. He is King of kings. He is Lord of lords. He is our Savior and Brother. We believe He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. We believe that Jesus Christ came down to Earth fully Divine and fully human at the same time. We believe He suffered under Pontius Pilate and died for the forgiveness of our sins on the Cross to ensure our salvation and the salvation of all humankind. We believe that by the power of the Most High God, Jesus Christ was raised from the dead on the third day and forty days later, ascended into Heaven, where He sits enthroned at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, praying to Him on our behalf. We believe that Jesus Christ will return to Earth in great glory to judge the living and the dead, bringing to a conclusion the salvation that He began in us at our first confession of Him. We believe in the Holy Spirit. We believe in the church visible and the church invisible. We believe in the communion of all saints. We believe in the resurrection of the body and in life everlasting. This is what we believe.
