HERE IS YOUR GOD (Jehovah titles)

JEHOVAH is one of the names of God. (Ex.17: 15) The name “YHWH,” have no vowels; the English rendering is JEHOVAH.

(Its original pronunciation is not known exactly. Since the

Jewish people took the third commandment seriously and wherever they came across, instead the name Adoni was used in order to avoid speaking the name carelessly; from the year BC.30 decided not to pronounce at all. Below are some of the names used for the Lord in his relation to the people and its Hebrew tongue.)

Context: Isaiah 40: 25-26 And unto whom do ye liken Me, And am I equal? saith the Holy One. Lift up on high your eyes, And see--who hath prepared these? He who is bringing out by number their host, To all of them by name He calleth, by abundance of strength (And he is strong in power) not one is lacking.

as it is said at the present day, On the mount of Jehovah will be provided.

Context: Abraham when took his son to be offered on the Mount of Moriah (Gen.22: 6- 8)

Context: When the Bitter water turned sweet at Marrah (Ex.15: 23-26)

Jehovah-nissi. Context: While Joshua was fighting with Amalek; Hur and Aaron holding Moses hands as he was making intercession (Ex.17: 10-15)

Context: Sabbath was given as a sign between the Lord and his people (Ex.31: 13-17)

Context: He has chosen us to be worthy to worship him. (Ps. 8:1,9)

Context: The Ten Commandments were given for them that “it may be well with them” (Ex. Ch. 20; Deu.5: 16; 10: 13)

Jud.6: 24 And Gideon built there an altar to Jehovah, and called it

Jehovah-shalom. To this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abi-ezrites.

Context. Gideon was afraid, since he found the Lord, But the Lord promised he will not die. He is the Lord of peace. (Jud. 6: 23)

Context: In relation to the worship of the true and living God (Read Psalm 103: 19-21) (I admits the limit of my knowledge beyond this name)

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want

(Ps.23: 1)

Context: A Psalm of David.- Jehovah is my shepherd; I shall not want.

We are his people and the sheep of his pasture (Ps.100: 3)

Psalms 91:1-2 He who is dwelling In the secret place of

the Most High, In the shade of the Mighty lodgeth habitually, He is saying of Jehovah, `My refuge, and my bulwark, my God, I trust in Him,‘

Context: Jehovah the Most High, He is the creator of all things, He is not in need of anything. When he is our Lord, why we desire the blessing of others. (Gen.14: 22,23)

Context. Lo, days are coming--an affirmation of Jehovah,

And I have raised to David a righteous shoot, And a king

hath reigned and acted wisely, And done judgment

and righteousness in the earth. (Jer.23: 5)

Context: To Him leading His people in a wilderness, For to the ages is His loving kindness. (Deu.8: 1-4; Psalm 136:16)
