GLOBAL FUND FOR CHILDRENVISION
• The Global Fund for Children envisions a world where all children grow up to be productive, caring citizens of a global society.
• To this end, they work to advance the dignity of young people worldwide.
GFC History & Facts
o GFC made its first grants in 1997 using royalties from its children’s book publishing venture.
o GFC’s grant making capacity has grown from $3,000 in 1997 to approximately $3.2 million during the 2008-2009 fiscal year.
o Since 1997, GFC has distributed more than $13.9 million in grants to more than 364 groups in 72 countries worldwide.
