The pistol has a highly polished finish and is hand crafted in an all steel construction, with a ball trigger and 190mmsmoothbore barrel of 13.5mm (.530") approx. diameter bore. The overall length of the pistol is 317mm and the weight isapprox. 907 grams.

The famous Texas Patterson, one of the rarest typesof gun in existance was used extensively by the Texas Rangers.Faithfully reproduced in Italy to extremely high standards. With aconcealed flip down trigger which ejects from the frame as thepistol is cocked. Blued steel 22.8cm octagonal barrel, 5 shotcylinder and frame. In the winter of 1861/62 J.H.Dance & Brothers ofColumbia (first capital of Texas) started the production of revolvers.The pistols were probably inspired by the Colt Dragoon and 1851models of the period. The prototype was presented on April22,1862 and was soon considered to be superior to the best Colts.The Dance is easily distinguishable by it’s lack of recoil shield onthe frame, round barrel and squareback trigger guard.
