談及安利事業，不期然讓人聯想起帶領團隊必須具備的領導力，

Janus對此卻有另一番見解：「如果團隊是一列火車，我就是負責

連結每卡車廂的環扣，一卡緊接一卡，一同前往目的地。」Janus

自言喜歡擔當協調者的角色，關顧夥伴的感受，凝聚大家的力量，

協助團隊達成夢想。

發展安利的過程亦加速了Janus的成長，她不再只擔當協調者的角

色，她更願意跨出重要的一步 — 敢於承擔，「從前只會跟從別人

成功的步伐，但是為了令自己更進一步，我覺得自己必須承擔起更

大的使命，成為一個真正的領導者，帶領更多人成功。」

追尋理想生活Janus早於大學一年級時已透過朋友認識安利事業，年紀輕輕的她

當時對「直銷」還沒什麼感覺，令她印象最深刻的反而是參加講座

時講者的一句說話：「如何用三年持間換取工作四十年的成果？」

這句說話引起了Janus對安利事業的興趣，「自由的時間、生活的

保障，以及對旅遊的憧憬，一直是我所渴望的；眼看父母經營了二

十多年的旅行社生意最後因經濟環境而無奈結業，欠缺保障，更令

我下定決心，為家人提供更理想的生活；我相信只要肯嘗試，定能

成功。」Janus回想說。

善用時間 雙線發展憑藉堅定的信念和努力，今天Janus不但成為了安利的新晉鑽石領

導人，更於傳統工作中表現優秀，成為了不少在職安利人的模範：

「要兩者兼顧，與時間的多少沒有關係，重點是你要知道如何安

排時間；即使再忙碌，只要你懂得分配時間，做任何事情也會得

心應手。」Janus直言，身兼兩職，不得不作出若干犧牲：「無可

否認，你會變得更忙碌，私人時間亦

對有幫助；更重要的是，我希望向在職

的安利夥伴證明，只要下定決心，沒有

學以致用 相輔相成現在，Janus得到的不單是對未來的保障，還有個人的「增值」，

「安利是一門人的事業，感謝公司及領導人為我們開辦了不同的培

訓課程，令我的溝通技巧有顯著的改善，藉此增強我的自信心；許

多時候，我甚至能夠把在安利所學的東西應用於傳統職場，為我帶

來不少裨益，表現更勝人一籌。」相信Janus滿足的笑容就是最好

的答案。

Janus表示年青人更應加入安利的大家庭：「除了金錢的回報外，

更重要的是在培訓過程中學習到的不同的技巧，從而提升自信心，

這些得著將令你受用一生，在工作及待人處世方面都會有正面的

影響。」

心動不如行動「It’s not how good you are, it’s how good you want to be」，

Janus引用Paul Arden的其中一本著作勉勵一眾夥伴，「不是單憑

你的性格或能力就能判斷你是否適合經營安利事業，而是你要清楚

知道你希望追求的是什麼，你想成為一個怎樣的人。」Janus就是

最佳的典範，清楚自己的目標，向著標杆直跑，達致心中所想。現

在，令Janus最感滿足的是不再讓父母擔心她將來的生活，更可反

過來照顧他們；未來，Janus更希望到一些特別的地方旅遊，嘗試

從另一角度細味生活的點滴。

An Ideal LifeJanus was introduced to the Amway business by a friend when in her first year at university. Her interest was aroused when she heard the question, “How can you achieve the same results as a 40-year working life in just three years?”

Remembering her introduction to Amway, Janus recalled: “free time, lifetime protection and the opportunity to travel were all things that I yearned for. I also wanted to take care of my parents because they were forced to close their travel agency after 20 years because of the economic situation at the time.”

Parallel Development Janus’s determination and persistence have led to her achieving outstanding results in both her Amway business and the traditional business in which she is still employed. “Time management skills are very important,” she explained. “You can get good results in different areas at the same time if you have the ability to manage your time effectively.”

Although her busy working life inevitably reduces her spare time, Janus sees this as a bonus because she can get to know more about the mindset of working people. This in turn benefits her Amway business. “My aim is to demonstrate to my partners that you can achieve what you wish if you have determination,” Janus smiled.

In her team, Janus works as a bridge connecting people together. “If the team is like a train, then I’m the one responsible for connecting each of the carriages, encouraging partners to reach our destination together.”

The Amway business has boosted Janus’s personal capabilities in a number of ways and she is now ready to take a big step forward.

“I think it’s time for me to bear a greater responsibility and be a good leader, helping more people to live better lives,” she said.

Valued-added BusinessNot only has Janus been able to enjoy future protection through Amway, but also she seen a number of improvements in the way she approaches things. “Amway is a business that focuses on people, and I’m very grateful for the way the company offers various training courses that help us to improve our communication skills. I’ve become more self-confident since joining Amway and I can use the knowledge I’ve acquired in my other job,” she said.

Janus encourages young people to join the Amway family, and not just for the monetary rewards. “You can learn a number of important skills through the various training sessions and improve your confidence at the same time,” she said. “Amway is a life-changing experience that benefits your work as well as your interpersonal relationships.”

Act NowJanus uses a quote - “It’s not how good you are; it’s how good you want to be” – from a book by Paul Arden to encourage her partners. “You can’t decide if you’re the right kind of person to develop the Amway business based only on your character or ability. It’s important that you have a clear understanding of what you’re willing to pursue and what kind of person you want to be,” she explained.

Janus believes she has a bright future in prospect and she’s happy about being able to take good care of her parents. Looking to the future, she hopes to travel to some special places and experience the fruitfulness of life as she continues on her Amway journey.

開車看花去穿越金門大橋，大概是每個遊客的夢想。汽車駛入

大橋前，正是欣賞金門景觀的最佳時間，掛滿了鋼

纜的橙紅色大橋在朝霞與夕陽中格外漂亮，據說橋

上負責油漆的工人需要周而復始工作，才讓金門大

沿著大橋一路向北的金門公園是世界上面積最大的

人工公園，沒有圍牆，也不收門票，整個公園的最

阿姆斯特丹修建的荷蘭風車、溫室花園和極富藝術

感的日本園林都值得一看。

最令人為之難忘的，是三藩市西北部俄羅斯山丘上

的倫巴底街，僅僅三四百米長的花徑，路面坡度有

40度以上，在陡坡上通行可不是件易事，但這裡的

風景絕對讓人流連忘返。

認識鼻敏感過敏性鼻炎，又稱鼻敏感，主要分為終年過敏性鼻

炎及季節性過敏性鼻炎兩種，一般病徵為慢性或反

覆打噴嚏、流鼻水、鼻塞等。季節性過敏性鼻炎又

稱花粉症，多由花粉及黴菌引起，在春季較暖和潮

濕的天氣最常見；終年過敏性鼻炎則是由致敏原如

塵蟎及動物的毛屑等引起。

香港患鼻敏感的人越來越多，這與空氣污染及氣候

變化越趨嚴重有密切的關係；受氣候暖化影響，一

些地方變得過暖過濕，令花粉期延長，黴菌生長及

散播的速度加快，昆蟲、致敏原更活躍，更容易

引發過敏症狀，嚴重者更會導致氣管過敏及哮喘

發作。

What is Allergic Rhinitis?Allergic rhinitis is an allergic reaction that can be broken down into two types: seasonal allergic rhinitis and perennial allergic rhinitis, which occurs year-round. Symptoms of allergic rhinitis include sneezing and a runny and stuffy nose. Seasonal allergic rhinitis is caused by pollen and mould spores while perennial allergic rhinitis is generally the result of dust mites and pet dander.

Research has shown that climate change and worsening air pollution are factors in the increase in the number of Hong Kong people who suffer from allergic rhinitis. The impact of global warming means that pollen is present for a longer time in certain areas, which serves to accelerate mould growth. As a result, allergens become more active which leads to an increase in the prevalence of allergic rhinitis. In severe cases, allergic rhinitis may lead to airway allergies and asthma attacks.

預防鼻敏感鼻敏感一般無法根治，因此我們應從預防方面入

手，以減低鼻敏感發作的機會：

• 避免塵蟎滋生，應經常保持家居清潔及乾爽。

How to Prevent Allergic Rhinitis?Sufferers will find it hard to avoid allergic rhinitis, but the following tips can help to alleviate the symptoms:

• Keep your home clean and dry to prevent dust mites from breeding.

• Using a damp cloth is recommended when cleaning.

• Allergy sufferers are advised to stay indoors as much as possible during the pollen period.

• Avoid being in damp and mouldy places if you are allergic to mould spores.

• Wear a mask or stay indoors when Air Quality Health Index is serious.

1 筊白筍去殼洗淨，切塊備用。

2 加入30毫升油，以中火預熱2公升不銹鋼煲，下薑片爆香，放入筊白筍炒至 金黃色；加入老抽、鹽、糖和清水拌勻，蓋上鍋蓋至出現蒸氣後轉小火， 燜煮5分鐘。

1 Peel, wash and chop the bamboo shoots.2 Preheat 30ml of oil on a medium heat in the Two

Litre Saucepan. Add the ginger and fry together with the bamboo shoots until they turn a golden yellow colour. Add the dark soya sauce, salt, sugar and the water, then stir together thoroughly. Cover with the lid and turn to a low heat until steam seeps out. Cook for a further five minutes.

3 Open the lid and thicken the sauce on a medium heat. Sprinkle the spring onion on top and serve.

A: What do you think about the architecture of Hong Kong and the way public spaces are used? How can you put your own skills to best use?

K: Creativity will often be neglected in a place such as Hong Kong, which has a very high density of living. At ADO we try to retain elements of local culture in our designs and at the same time pursue world-class standards. Our work for the Mount Davis Youth Hostel and Ma On Shan Public Library are good examples of how we incorporate local history and culture in our design. We believe this to be as important as the quality of design

A: What does an ideal working environment mean to you?

K: Environmentally friendly and flexible storage areas have been become one of the recent trends. Wood, metals and other durable materials are preferred because they can be reused. To me, an ideal working environment should be warm and energetic, and I think it’s very important to have a workspace that’s bright and fresh.

K: A good quality indoor environment is very important as we stay in the office for long hours. 子女有讀寫障礙問題，父母往往擔心孩子會被比

下去，輸在起跑線。兒童體智及行為發展學科

專科醫生陳鳳英(Dorothy Chan)，在大女兒四

歲時發現她有讀寫困難，Dorothy欣然接受，更

讓孩子作多方面發展，提升自信，Dorothy深信

讀障孩子同樣可以創造精彩人生。

Parents of dyslexic children worry that their offspring will encounter difficulties in their studies as they grow up. Dr Dorothy Chan, Specialist in Developmental-Behavioural Paediatrics, discovered that her elder daughter was suffering from dyslexia when she was four. Dr Chan was unperturbed, helping her daughter explore her potential and boosting her confidence to help her live a colourful life.

調節心態 設定人生目標香港孩子一出生就開始競爭，有讀寫障礙的孩子在

學業上「看似」較同齡孩子遜色，家長很容易會感

到失落，對培育孩子失去信心。Dorothy說自己也有

讀寫困難的問題，她在中小學時語言科目不好，但

今日也可以成為醫生，建立自己的事業。她指父母

不要在乎別人的眼光，或以「學業成績論英雄」，

只要孩子活得健康快樂，也能在不同領域有所

成就。

Dorothy回想發現大女兒紫恩在讀寫認字有困難時，

她的第一個反應是：「全港有10%小孩子有不同程

度的讀寫問題，沒甚麼大不了！」於是她就積極為

孩子設計能幫助她提升認字能力的方法，例如製作

一些需要運用想像力的形狀認字卡，讓女兒輕鬆愉

快學習。

鼓勵閱讀 啟發創意Dorothy表示孩子多閱讀對認字有一定幫助，但亦

切忌操之過急，強迫孩子看他們不感興趣的書籍。

Dorothy每星期會帶女兒到圖書館，讓她們選擇自己

喜歡的圖書，她說：「我不會要求女兒懂得多少詞

彙，去圖書館的目的是要提升她對閱讀的興趣，不

要害怕接觸文字，現在大女兒已看過約五十多本圖

書，最近已讀完福爾摩斯傳這類初中讀物了。」

Dorothy說紫恩認字和書寫能力不好，卻不代表她的

表達能力有問題，反之紫恩的想像力很豐富。因此

女兒做功課時，Dorothy會想一些方法給她調適，例

如作文時女兒可以運用Google Chrome 語音搜尋，

讀出想寫的句子，電腦就會顯示文字內容，她就知

道怎樣寫字了。Dorothy認為香港的教育界對於培訓

和照顧學習障礙兒童的教師不甚足夠，希望政府可

以多關注這方面的問題。

同步同行 培養興趣孩子成長路最需要父母的支持，Dorothy認為不管

孩子有沒有讀障問題，他們也需要父母同步同行。

父母一方面可以更了解孩子的變化，見證他們的成

長，同時亦要以身作則給孩子做個好榜樣。Dorothy

認為孩子不一定只在學業上展現才華，例如她知

道女兒愛游泳，就把游泳當作親子活動；當發現女

兒熱愛運動，就多給她嘗試不同的運動項目，假日

一家人會一同踏單車和跑步。在女兒歲半時，

Dorothy已帶她們遠足，她發現戶外活動更有得著，

由於孩子在戶外見到新事物，觸發起她們的好奇

心，山上的花草樹木及小昆蟲可以提升她們的感官

能力，生活上學到的知識比在書本學到的更立體和

多元化，令孩子更易理解及留下深刻印象。

自我發掘能力 自信關鍵陪伴不等於嬌縱，要讓孩子發掘自我十分重要。

Dorothy說大女兒雖然讀寫能力遜色，但自理能力卻

出奇的高，她說：「現在紫恩已小學四年級，我不

會過分管束她的學業。而紫恩的自理能力十分高，

她喜歡游泳和晚飯後到住所樓下玩滾軸溜冰，她便

會主動做好功課和溫習，好讓自己享受玩樂的時

光。」雖然女兒的學業成績平平，但Dorothy已十分

滿意，她深信孩子健康愉快成長才是最重要。

她建議各家長如想提升孩子的自理能力，最重要就

是學懂放手，孩子初學用筷子和匙子吃飯，必定會

弄得亂七八糟，初學踏單車也必定會跌跌撞撞。失

敗也是學習的過程，孩子們學懂後可以得到很大的

滿足感。Dorothy指看見兩個女兒能照顧自己的生活

起居，主動學習，令她感到很欣慰。

Manufacturing sites in Vietnam and China are planned as part of the expansion as well. Foundation of Amway China Botanical Centre has been laid in Wuxi, Jiangsu since October 2013, and expansion is currently undertaking at the site. Amway has experienced success with integrating physical locations into its business model in recent years and, with the opening of a location at Citi Field in New York City, now has physical locations in all four company regions.
