What do seeds need to grow?

Use the following interactive to investigate what seeds need in order to grow.

Materials: Each group will need

3Zip lock bags

sheets of paper towel 1 for each person

soaked beans1 for each person

magnifying glass(optional)

Spray bottle with water

1marking pen

Step 1:

Write your name on the zip lock bag

Step 2:

Spray the paper towel

until it is wet.

Step 3:

Place the wet paper towel

into the zip lock bag

Place the seed

in the bag between the paper and the bag.

Step 4:

Step 5:

Zip up your bag

Tape it to the window

Step 6:

Take a photo of your seed
