Addiction to Recovery: How and what are the steps needed for recovery
CCII 2017By: Stephen Bohrer
What is the issue and why is it relevant and worth exploring.• Many people in this country are struggling with
addiction and don’t have the proper means of getting the help needed to become safe and healthy again.• These select people are struggling day in and day out
trying to find a way but are facing many opsticals. Personally, socialie, and economical problems.• Some people see addicts and just that and addicts or
a drunk. But there are others that see these people as humans too that are struggling with something and need help
Potential Questions • Addicts may be asking the questions as to where can I
get help, who will help and why would they help me.• There are recovery centers all across the country and
they’re state wide. They range form over night programs to out passont treatment.• There are many people out there that have been
impact by addiction and want to help others so other families don’t have to struggle. • Many people want to see addicts recover and get
treated
Research Available • There are a number of thinks people can do to get help and geat
healthy • The starting point to recovery starts with knowing the problem then
finding a way to fix it.• This is where the research comes into play, there are a number of
places to stay• Out of house care and in house care is avalialbe for people with
addictions of all forms.• People need to understand how bad their problem is and what kind
of help they think will help with their addictions. • Tests are done to test their level of addiction and to place them in
the proper form of recovery.

Potential Challenges • Challenges that some addicts face when going into
recovery is money. Over night housing is not cheap and can cost in the upper thousands • Addicts sometimes don’t have family or friends to
have their back and support them through the process • It is not an easy thing to go through and people
sometimes need to talk and have human contact can go a long way in recovery
Helping addicts and why we should be doing something • Addicts sometimes resort to crime to support their
habbets and if we help them with recovery and help them get healthy then the crime rates could possible have an impact • If we help other humans through a time of need to
better the enivernment for ourselves then why not try and give it a shot• Our country or even smaller our state has a number of
addicts and why not try to help better the place where we live.
Potential Questions one might have •How do I get in touch with recovery centers•What does it take to get accepted into a program •How much does it cost, will it work
