Stuck in the mudI was stuck in the mud, in a bunch of trouble muddy from my head to my toes I squished and squelched in this giant puddle, No way that I could go.

Just then a tall giraffe tried to pull me out It was crazy! She stuck out her neck and she pulled and pulled but...she got stuck there too!

Just thenthe clouds grew dark and the thunder rolled, it was crazy! the rain came down, washed all the mud away and we weren't stuck no more!

We were none in the mud, and in no more trouble clean from our head to our toes We jumpt right out of that giant puddle, and gratefully made our way back home.

Peter and the wolf

Let me tell you a story. This is the story of Peter and the wolf.Early one morning Peter opened the gate and went out into the big green meadow.On a branch of a big tree, sat a little bird, Peter’s friend. “All is quiet, all is quiet” chipped the bird gaily. Just then a duck came waddling round. She was glad the gate Peter had not closed the gate, and decided to take a nice swim into the deep pond in the meadowSeeing the duck, the bird flew down upon the grass. “What kind of bird are you if you can’t fly” said the bird. To this the duck replied “What kind of bird are you if you can’t swim”. They argued and argued, the little duck swimming in the pond, the bird hopping along the shore.Something caught Peter’s attention: he noticed the cat crawling through the bird. “Look out” shouted Peter and the bird immediately flew up into the tree.Grandfather came out. He was angry because Peter had gone into the meadow. Peter paid no attention to his Grandfather’s word: boys like him are simply not afraid of wolves. But Grandfather took Peter by the hand, lock the gate and lead him home.No sooner had Peter gone and a big grey wolf came out of the forest.In a twinkling the cat climbed up the tree. The duck quacked and in her excitement foolishly jumped out of the pond. Then he got her, and in one gulp swallow her.The wolf walked round and round the tree looking at them with greedy eyes.Peter in the meantime stood behind the closed gate, watching all that’s been going on. He run home, got a strong rope, and climbed up the high stone wall, lightly climbing over onto the tree.Peter said to the bird: “Fly down and circle around the wolf ’s head. Only takes care that he doesn’t catch you”Peter made a lasso with his rope and carefully letting it down, he caught the wolf by the tail , he pull the rope with all his might.But Peter tied the other end of the rope to the tree.Out of the wood came the hunters and shooting as they went. “Don’t shoot, don’t shoot” said Peter “ Help us take him to the zoo”Imagine the triumphant procession: Peter at the head, after him the hunters leading the wolf, and, winding up the procession, Grandfather and the cat. Above them flew bird, chipping merely. And if you listen very carefully, you can hear the duck quacking inside the wolf.
