Teachers also have set classes up in Microsoft Teams. Students can find lessons, support materials, ask

questions and chat with the teacher and classmates. It can be found in Office 365 if it is not already on the

student desktop. They should download the app to the desktop from the software center if it is not already

there. There is also an IT Help desk section in Teams for students who have questions or need help with their

computer. There are also instructional videos.

Sumner Social Media Policy- Respect Yourself- Do your work before you play or chat. Ask for help if you need it.

Respect Others- Be kind and helpful to all. Let others work. Respect the Environment- Be kind to your computer. Treat it like a baby. Do not

download memes or software from the internet. If you get a virus, it can’t be fixed easily. Safeguard your personal information.

Open a Word Document and label it with your first and last name and the word “yuck”.

Example- Jimmy James yuck

1. Write a persuasive or opinion essay about your least favorite food. It could be something

that your family makes for dinner or something served in the school cafeteria. Your essay

should try to convince your audience to never make and serve it again.

2. You must come up with 3 reasons with supporting evidence/examples and include an

introduction and conclusion as well. (5 paragraph essay) 3. Be sure to use transition words and convincing language.

4. Use the Opinion graphic organizer posted in the Teams File page in Science/Writing 231,

232 or Homeroom 222 in the Class Materials folder.
