Hello P7B boys and girls☺I hope you and your families are keeping well and that you had a relaxing
weekend. Now, more than ever, it is important for us to look after ourselves and each other. I’m thrilled when I receive messages from you about – how you help
others in your community, how you have fun creating things, how you find alternative ways to learn, how the Lion King project became a family project and
how you ask me for more challenging work… and I’ve even been ‘told off’ for providing you with wrong answers☺, it’s OK.
It is OK not to be perfect. It’s natural to feel worried and anxious just now. We are experiencing an unusual situation we have never had to face before, and we are all
doing our best to adapt. It’s OK not to feel ok – so don’t judge yourself for how you’re coping.
Keep smiling! Keep learning! Have fun!Stay home , stay safe! Miss you all very much

This week - Maths Self-AssessmentAt the moment we often do things differently. This week you will self-assess your Maths
skills in your own house without me looking over your shoulder. I know I can trust you.
Choose a set of questions you are comfortable with but also remember to challenge yourself.
The questions are going from from easiest to hardest. Try not to use a calculator.
Read the questions carefully before answering. Work as quickly and as carefully as you can, without help.
If you cannot do one of the questions, go on to the next one. You can come back to it later.
Good luck!
AssessmentBefore the lockdown we learned about Units of Measurements
and for last couple of weeks we revised the Time. Read the questions carefully before answering. Good luck!
In Session 4 we will:
• Explore the tools actors use to create strong characters
• Describe the traits of the Lion King characters
• Use our body, voice and imagination to bring characters to life

Expect the Unexpected
Watch the video above.
This is a story of two seeds – both planted
on the same day, in the same soil, in the
same garden bed. One has a growth
mindset—with a curious desire to grow and
reach the outside world—while the other has
a fixed mindset—filled with fear and choosing to remain stagnant in its soil.

Which of these two seeds would you be? Why?
