Are you doing a PLACEMENT as part of your degree? Every year, many students spend a year in industry for the third year of their degree. This placement year is embedded in your degree and allows you to work full time in a paid role with companies around the world. You gain vital experience using your degree in the workplace, applying your academic learning and developing new skills as a professional. You return with a bank of examples of your extended employability skills, an enhanced CV and sometimes with a graduate role off er.

You choose your placement, but we support you throughout from the fi rst year module, Preparation for Placement, to a programme of support in your second year whilst applying and then when on placement when we visit you.

If this is not part of your degree but you would like to include it, come to one of our Transfer to Placement presentations and also speak to your department.

Is an INTERNSHIP an integral part of your degree? If you are studying the International Business Management degree you will take an internship in your vacation between your 1st & 2nd year, 2nd & 3rd year and 3rd & 4th year. We are here to help you secure a rewarding internship. These are usually in the UK but can be in any English-speaking business environment.

Finding a Placement or InternshipThrough modules and a series of workshops, we support you to fi nd suitable placements and internships, focusing on how to be successful in the recruitment process. We work with employers to bring you insight into how to secure opportunities with global, national and local companies, SMEs and corporate giants.
