My story

• Stay at home mum with 2 young children, one at Tweseldown Infants.

• Deacon at Church Crookham Baptist Church

• Run local toddler group

• Chatting with others, finding out what’s going on in their lives

Why did I put my name forward?

• Saw opportunity to help out• Experience working up in London in the Civil

Service, project management• Now with two young children I spend a lot of my

time in Church Crookham and wanted to do something locally.

What could you add to the mix?

Why be a parish councillor?

• We need people to join the team.

• Do you have a few spare hours a month?

• Willing to help others?

• Team player?

I’d love to see the parish council representing every age group / walk of life.
