New Features for HeiTel VideoGateways ─ Enhanced video channels for CamServer VG 2c / CamDisc VG2c and Cam4mobile VG2c

● What is it? Extension of existing video input channels from 1 analogue and 1 IP camera or 2 IP cameras to 1analogue and 3 IP cameras or 4 IP cameras

● Why is it needed? Advantage of using up to 4 video channels by keeping the existing market prices (triggered by price-sensitive projects)

─ ADPRO PRO / PRO-E High-Level Integration ● What is it? Integration of ADPRO PRO / PRO-E PIRs via serial RS232 interface (additional IB RS232-RS485 adapter is needed). ● Why is it needed? The High-Level integration allows to connect up to 20 ADPRO PRO / PRO-E PIRs and enables the installer to reduce

installation / cabling cost significantly.

─ Playback of pre-recorded audio clips ● What is it? HeiTel receiver software solutions enables CMS operators to playback pre-recorded audio clips via the loudspeaker on site. ● Why is it needed? Pre-recorded audio clips / sound files allow a professional reaction of unexpected instances and provide clear instructions to

─ Pre- / Post-Alarm Viewer ● What is it? This feature allows the operator to automatically receive the complete alarm sequences (pre / post alarm) parallel to live images in

Accessory “IB RS232-RS485” Interface adapter for star-wiring with integrated RS485 signal distributor for up to 10 ADPRO passive infrared (PIR) detectors via RS485 interfaces for a maximum distance of 1200m for each PIR. The IB RS232-RS485 is connected via the transparent RS232 interface to any HeiTel VideoGateway. The cascading of two IB RS232-RS485 adapters allows the use of up to 20 ADPRO PIRs at a HeiTel VideoGateway.

This new feature allows emergency and service control centres to playback pre-recorded audio sequences by pushing a button. The sequences are played through a loudspeaker mounted directly on the building and connected to the HeiTel VideoGateway. Intruders can then be told to leave the premises immediately.

EMS GPS Watcher

With the GPS Watcher functionality it is now possible to display current positions and live GPS data on a map (Google Earth / Open Street Map) of those VideoGateways which are connected via HTconnect. Up to four VideoGateways can be displayed simultaneously on one map.

The EMS also records a route and position data which are displayed in the history of the GPS watcher.
