LENGTH GAUGING SOLUTIONS

With a measuring range of 30 mm, the new 30xx Acanto length gauge

from HEIDENHAIN (GB), the world-leading supplier of angular, linear and

rotary encoders, digital readouts and CNC systems, offers absolute

measured values to accuracies of +/- two microns and a resolution of 368

nm in an IP67-rated device designed for a range of multi-point inspection

applications.

Complementing the HEIDENHAIN range of 12 mm Acanto absolute

length gauges, the 30xx is available in versions for manual or

pneumatic use and it transmits position information via an EnDat 2.2

serial interface. In combination with absolute measuring, the EnDat

interface ensures position values are immediately available upon

inspection system start-up. With a degree of protection rating of IP67,

the AT 30xx is protected against dust and temporary immersion in

water.
