Bayit Shelter Information Session
Update
A few months ago we shared our interest in partnering with
BronxWorks to host a small (5-bed) weekly overnight shelter
in the Bayit on Tuesday nights. This shelter replicates the 15
year old weekly shelter on Monday nights at Riverdale-Yonkers
Society for Ethical Culture where Bayit members volunteer
regularly. BronxWorks has informed us that due to a schedul-
ing delay the information session and shelter launch need to be
deferred to the early fall. A new information session date will
follow. The Bayit and BronxWorks are committed to
addressing all community questions prior to the launch.
