HEB - SWX/WAL PARTNERSHIP

SWX/WAL libraries formed strong ongoing partnership with HEB – SW:

• -on March 21, 2015 HEB Information Desk was offered at Walter NL to promote HEB free services and events.

 • - on March 24, “H-E-Buddy Fun and Storytime” program was launched. “H-E-Buddy

Fun and Storytime” program is a series of events that is held at Walter NL every fourth Tuesday. The program is geared towards the kids (preschool - elementary school age). The activities include: storytime, crafts, HEB coloring pages, other activities. H-E-Buddy mascot is part of this program. The theme and goal of the program is to promote healthy life style.

• - SWX/WAL @ outdoor events ( San Felipe Store):

• HEB Easter Outdoor Celebration event • Mother’s Day Celebration

During these events a story time activity took place, a table with HPL, SWX/WAL promotional flyers was set up.

• - HPL Summer Storytime and Crafts at HEB (weekly program at San Felipe HEB store)Because of the success of the outdoor celebration events and at visitors’ suggestions, we are offering a story time on a regular basis (weekly on Wednesdays through Summer) at the HEB San Felipe as a collaborative effort between SWX/WAL and HEB San Felipe (Ms. Meagan Galbraith).
