Entry requirements

• Suitable for: Experienced Groomers. A groomer is experienced if working unsupervised in a salon for over a year and happy to complete 4/5 grooms in a day.

• (Mandatory) Learners need to have achieve City and Guilds Level 2 Certificate for dog grooming assistants 7763-02

• Attend/ achieve Heavenlyz PFA courseLearning Hours

• Guided Learning Hours 300 hours• Total Qualification Time 426 hours

Qualification Units• Unit 301 health and safety, legislation and code of practice for the dog grooming industry• Unit 302 prepare, styling and finishing• Unit 303 health checking and handling a dog in a dog grooming environment• Unit 304 customer service and record keeping in a dog grooming environment

Fees• £1450• Fees inclusive of Registration, Assessor Support, all resources, Assessor travel time, miles, accommodation

and single entry onto practical assessment.• Please note PFA additional fee of £99 and retake additional £650 in areas of operation if peripatetic and not

with another student sitting assessment for the first time. If joining as a first time student the retake fee is £250.

• If student wants to sit Level 2 then we can discount it from £950.00 to £650.00 all inclusive when purchased with Diploma includes a free PFA Course worth £99.00, so they only actually paying £441.00 for a level 2 !

How the Qualification is delivered• Mandatory 031 Synoptic assessment which is externally set, internally marked and externally QA

• 030 written theory exam (no more L3 evolve) – externally set and marked. Sat at the Derby test centre on 3 rd June 2019 and 12th November 2019 9.30am – 11.30am
