The Night Journey

53:11رأى ما الفؤاد كذب ما

The heart did not lie [about] what it saw.53:12

أفتمارونه على ما يرىSo will you dispute with him over what he saw?

53:13ولقد رآه نزلة أخرى

And he certainly saw him in another descent53:14

عند سدرة المنتهىAt the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary -

53:15عندها جنة المأوى

Near it is the Garden of Refuge -53:16

إذ يغشى السدرة ما يغشىWhen there covered the Lote Tree that which covered [it].

53:17ما زاغ البصر وما طغى

The sight [of the Prophet] did not swerve, nor did it transgress [its limit].

53:18لقد رأى من آيات ربه الكبرى

He certainly saw of the greatest signs of his Lord.
