There are many views of heaven held by mankind.

John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In

my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that

where I am, there ye may be also.”

Within each person there is a desire for something better than this world.

God has often reminded us of heaven in the Bible.

Thoughts of heaven have inspired writing of many beautiful songs.

Those songs stir within us a deep yearning for the bliss of heaven.

I. The use of the words: Heaven, heavens and heavenly

Gen. 1:1“In the beginning God created the

heaven and the earth.”

KJV – Heaven is singular tenseMost other translations use plural

tense.

It is all up to you & me.Are we willing to go there?

There is a price which has to be paid.
