HeatProbe: 2000 Series

NPT Style

Type: Turbulated Immersion Heat Exchanger (HeatProbe) Heat Output: Oil/Fuel = 1.5 KW per lineal foot or 427 BTU per lineal inch at -30 C/-22 F.

Water = 3.0 KW per lineal foot or 854 BTU per lineal inch at 1 C/34 F. Immersion/Insert Length: Production sizes shall be 8”, 12”, 15”, 18”, 20”, 24”. Custom Manufactured lengths shall

be available in any size over 4” up to 40”. Fin-tube type: The exchanger tube shall be of SA-214, 14 GA, carbon steel with radial .016” L-foot aluminum fins

spaced at 10 FPI. Brass and SS exchanger tubes c/w fins are also available for water and/or corrosive fluids. Manifold type: The manifold shall be machined 304 SS. Thread type: The thread type shall be 2” NPTM Cap type: The exchanger’s (HeatProbe) epoxy threaded end plug shall be 304 SS. Coolant Ports: Coolant ports shall be 2 x 1/2” NPTF inline and 2 x 3/8” NPTF at 90 degrees from manifold.

3/8” NPTM brass plugs close off end ports not used. Tank Flanges: The tank flanges required to install the exchanger (HeatProbe) shall be 2" NPTF thread size half-

couplings, either weld-on or bulkhead. Weldless SS Tank Flange shall also be available for retrofit. Pressure Ratings: The exchanger (HeatProbe) shall have an internal pressure rating of 1100 KPA/160 PSI and an

external rating of 380 KPA/55 PSI with a max working temperature of 200 C/392 F. Installation: The installation of the exchanger (HeatProbe) shall be performed in accordance with Operation Manual. Warranty: The warranty on the exchanger (HeatProbe) shall be for 5 full years from Date of Purchase.
