Introduction
❖ In general, convection heat transfer deals with thermal interaction
between a surface and an adjacent moving fluid. Examples include the
flow of fluid over a cylinder, inside a tube and between parallel plates.
Convection also includes the study of thermal interaction between
fluids. An example is a jet issuing into a medium of the same or a
different fluid.
