CHAPTER 1

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

“Peter your late for school again” Peter’s mom called down. Peter Smith blackhaired 15 year old teenager. Only had a week till summer vacation “Peter I am notcalling you again” his mom said racing upstairs “yeah mom I hear you, just give mea sec” he said. Peter got dressed quickly and came down for breakfast

“Did you hear your ant and cousin are coming next week” his mom said withexcitement

“You mean ant Sara” he said with a mouth full of toast.

”Yes and her children” she said “Children!”He cried

“Yes Bella and Marry will come too. Plus you need to get ready for school your

brother left 2 hours ago” Miss Smith said.“I think I forgot something” she said “like what” he said

“You must take Gary the kindergarten.” Miss Smith said

“What! I have too. Why can’t Harry do that 2 hours ago” he said in surprise

“I was sleeping when he left. You must lean a lesson from him to get up early” Peterput his plate away got his stuff and left to school.

After school his mom was waiting for him at the door she said that dad called and

said that he want him to take him to work. His dad is a Biologist in stones and stuff like that. When Peter heard that he’s coming and ten minutes, he ran to get changeand I was a hot sunny day when he changed he was going downstairs his brotherstopped him and said “where you going “he said it with a can of soda

“Dad wants me to go with him to work” he said it with experiment

“So what dad wants me to go too” Harry said rolling his eyes. Harry was toll, and hehad brown and brown eyes and he was a three years older than him. Has they bothwent down slowly his dad just arrived.

“Dad” the boys yelled as they ran toads him “mom said that you will take us toyour work” peter said with excitement “yes I am, this I am go to the place wherethey did out the stones that’s why I wanted to take you two” Mr. Smith said openingthe door. Three of, then got out of the house and in to the car Mrs. Smith came outand said “you all have a fu trip” she smiled “thanks!” Peter and Harry said smilingback to her.

When they left Jackson and came CCG is the company where is dad works. It took 2minutes for their dad to get all his stuff. As they walked to the mining area “here

boys I will give you a hammer and a nail and start digging in and I will be rightback” he said. There dad gave them the hammer and a big nail and left.

As the boys were digging and they got tired and went to get a drink “dads not hereyet” Peter said “I wonder where he went” Harry said poring himself a drink. The

boys finish their brake and went back to work. 26 minutes pass and their dad finelycame back “where did you go dad” harry said coming over to him

“Oh at my office meeting someone” he said wiping of the swat

“Did you fine anything” he said

No nothing at all” Harry said in a sad voice

“I only found rocks, rocks and rocks” peter said clearing his way

“That’s because you are digging in the wrong place” Mr. Smith said “ oh sorry” he

said moving and different place.After finding nothing they just all left home. Mrs. Smith was waiting for them at thefront door with a big smile “so how did it all go, find anything” she said walkingtoured them “nothing at all” the boys said walking to the door slowly. Mr. and Mrs.Smith went home “off to bed both of you. You still have school tomorrow” she saidpointing her finger to the stairs “yes ma’am.”

Next morning they left to school and kindergarten. After school and kindergartenMiss Smith said that dad want you to go with him to work again

“Again and again we found nothing yesterday” Harry said as he fall on the couch soan Peter

“Come on guys your dad wants to have fun with you” she said

“Fun fun in a hot sunny day today it’s even hotter than yesterday” Peter said andstood up and went to get himself a drink

.”May be you will find something today” she said

“Something it’s like nothing” Harry said and stood up and got himself a drink too

“Ok. Them do it for me not for dad I really want to a real stone”she said pleasingthe boys

“Ok but if I don’t fine anything than this is the last do I am going there” Peter saidputting his cut away

“It’s ok with me too I will go just for mom” harry said

“Thank you boys I but you today you will find something” she said giving each on akiss

The boy went upstairs to get dressed. A few minutes later there Mr. Smith arrivedthey got in the car and went to the CCG . When they arrived and they got there tolls

and went to work. Other man was working too but it did not bother them. After andsoft snack they got to work Harry found some crystals and he was happy. Peter didnot find a thing yet so he wanted to work where his brother was

“Go away I found this place. Go back where you where” he brother said it with anItalian accent. Peter did what he said and went to a different place.

Suddenly Peter found something in the rock wall “ yes yes! ” Peter jump up and downand dance around everybody was looking at him like he was doing them a clownshow at work

“Will you keep it down” one of the workers said “Sorry my felt” Peter said Trying totake the stone out. It was a black with a scull inside “Harry! Harry!” he yelled “look!Look! Inside of this stone I found.” He ran to his brother to show him “looks to melike a death black stone” Harry looked at it for a while and cried out “ oh my g-o-d! ”he yelled “put is back where you found it” he backing away “why? Your just Jules of me have this cool one” he as he went back to work. “I am calling dad” harry said asracing to the elevator.

When Harry and Peter came to Mr. Smith’s office Harry told their father what peterfound. Mr. Smith took the stone and looked at it “this is not a real stone nothingspecial in it” he said and gave the stone back to Peter

“We are leaning five minutes so get your things. And go down “Dad!” Harry saidgiving him what he found

“I found a good spot, there can we come back tomorrow” he pleaded him

“Oh? I can’t I am leaving to Now York at 1:00 in the morning” he said picking up thetelephone

“Ok.” As both of the left the room and went downstairs to the car. Next morningwas the last day of school. The end of the day everyone was moving on

“Hey! Peter!” a familiar voice called. Mo Solo was Peter’s best friend in school and anext door friend. Mo had red striate hair and green eyes

“Mo! Peter! The bus is leaving” another familiar voice called waving to them. MollySolo the sister of Mo she had orange very long striate hair and green eyes too

“Yeah where are coming” Mo said waving back to her. As they got home and saidgood-bye. Mo and Molly lived next door. Peter said if they can come over his housefor dinner Mo said yes Molly had plants of her own.

When it came to dinner time Mo came over

“So and Sara is coming tomorrow” she side it in excitement

“And how nice is it to have a dinner with mo Solo thanks for coming” sheannounced Mo blushed. Dinner was over and everybody took a plate and washed itwhen everyone was finished Mo and Peter went up stairs.

“Hey Mo want to sleep over my house today” Peter said.

“I don’t think my mom lets” Mo sad putting his eyes down and sat on the end of thebed.

“Why not” Peter asked him.

“My mom does not feel well so I need to be home” Mo said

“But can Molly take care of her” he said and sat next to him.

“Yeah but she has camp for five days and she won’t be home. She is leaving todayafter dinner, I think she left all ready” he said “oh I see. Can I sleep over you?”

“I told you my mom does not feel well and I need to help her with stuff” he said“can you call her” Peter said.

“Why do you want to sleep over?” Mo asked him.

“Well you see its summer and we can do what we want. We don’t really sleep over alot because we had school and we need to get up early, we can also tell each other

what happened to us in the school year” he said and taking some breath.“What happened to us?” Mo asked him.

“Yeah like I went with my father to work today and yesterday and yesterday I didnot find anything and today I found a black stone” he said and stood up and wentover to his desk and picked up a box and opened it and took out the stone andcame to him.

“You see in side of it has a skull and Harry freaked out when he saw this and he ranto dad like a little girl and showed it to him and dad said its fake. I don’t think it is?”

“Wow! Cool looks to me like deadly and spooky” he said

“I looked at it on dad’s computer and I did not find anything” Peter said putting itaway

“You know I think I will call my mom and ask her ask her not please her ok” he leftthe room and went to the hall and pocked up the telephone. A few minutes later hecame back to the room and said him mom lets. Peter ran downstairs’ to ask his

mom and “but you promise you won’t do anything silly” she said “yes I promise” hereplayed back to her he ran again .Upstairs and told the good news he packed hisstuff and left.

When they came to Mo’s place his mom as sleeping ad Mo told Peter to be very quit

they went upstairs slowly and unpacked. Peter did not want to come hometomorrow because of his cousin Bella and Marry. But he liked Ant Sara. Before theywent to sleep Mo said that he has a short story that his grate grandma told himwhen he was small. Peter agreed Mo began his story.

“One time seven kids went camping and one of the boys saw some kind of shadowyfigure. He ran to tell the others but nobody beloved him they said that she wasdreaming but next day every one gone except one.”

Mo was starting to fall asleep and the end of the story. Next morning Mrs. Smithcalled to Mrs. Solo and said that Peter has to come home to greet there ant andcousin. Peter quickly packed up and said good-bye to Mo and Mrs. Solo and leftwhen he came home “Hi sweaty-pie “said a foamier voice.

CHAPTER 2

THE INVITASHIN“Ant Sara!” Peter drops his stuff on the floor and ran to greet her

Ant Sara Fittel hanged him and gave him a book of story’s “how lame is that” hethought to himself. “Did you say hi to Marry and Bella” Ant Sara Fittel said andturning Peter to them. There stood two girls one Marry and Bella. Bella Fittel wasthree and she was a dirty blond and she had brown eyes Marry Fittel was same andher hair was short and she was a dirty blond too and she also had brown eyes.

“Heeey Peter” Marry said trying to make him shake her hand.

“No thank you” Peter said backing away “Richey and I are going to the pool” he said“his mom will take us, can I go” he pleaded her.

“Ok but I want you to take Gary with you, he did not go to the pool a long time and Iwas planning to go to the pool this week” Mrs. Smith said

“Gary! Why him? But I can’t watch him I am going to be with my friends” he criedout

“I don’t care! Just take him I need some break” she said calling down Gary.

Down the stairs came a boy with brown, eyes and dark hair and peter was ten,years older than him. When they got out of the house they came to Richey Liner’shouse. That blond blue eyed boy was waving next to the car trying to give him asigh that they’re ready. Three of them sat in the car waiting for, Mrs. Liner. Petertold Richey what he, found at his dad’s word “wow! Sure look neat” Richey said.“Thanks, I think this is a really rare stone. I never seen something, like this” he said.

When they arrived at the pool Peter took Gary, to change him. Richey said he isgoing to swim meanwhile, he gets Gary changed. Peter’s mom called him and, shesaid that he has to be home at five o’clock and help them to get settled, Peterclosed the phone, and jumped in to the pool “I need to be home at five o’clock ”Peter warned him.

“I am thinking to go somewhere for the summer” he said.

“Like where?” Peter asked him.

“Capping” When the Five o’clock past by Mrs. Liner Said that they have to go homebecause of Peter’s mom. When they arrived home Peter Said good-bye to Richeyand his mom When Peter came home he sat down and got himself a drink Marrycame over him.

“Mom’s not home” she said “Why?” he said.

“I don’t know she said she is going somewhere and she left” she counted “Flora Turner is coming over today and I mean rite know” she said.

“You don’t live here and like you said mom’s not home” he said.

“I am here for summer know live with it, and Mrs. Smith said Flora Turner is allowedto come over” she and crossing her hands.

“Whatever I am out of here” opening the door and leaving

“Where you going?” she asked him.

“To Mo” he replied to her. Before he opened the door a blue eyed golden long curlyhaired girl Flora Turner bump in to him “watch where you going” she said “sorry,Marry is waiting for you” then he gave her space to come in. Flora is a Friend of Marry and Molly. “When I come back everything must be in order” he closing thedoor be hide him. When he was walking to Mo’s place he had a feeling thatsomeone is watching him all day. Wan he got there his mom was feeling better“how are you doing peter Smith” she greeted him.

“Fine, ok how are you doing” he said back to her “Much better then be for thankyou for asking”

“You’re welcome” he replied to her “we’ll go upstairs if you need anything ‘ma’where upstairs” Mo said making his way up. When they entered Mo’s room Mo saidto Peter that Richey invited him somewhere.

“Like where Richey will invite you” he asked him.

“Molly wants’ to invited her friend Flora and Marry” he said.

“Did he let” he replied.

“Yeah and she is happy to the top.” Later the boy went down to get somelemonade. Mo wanted to see that stone that Peter found at his dad’s work. “Sureit’s in my rite poked just give me a sac” he reached down to his poked and pulledout his stone.

“I never seen anything like this in my life, it’s such a thick black color that is evenhard to look at it” he said

“Thanks man my brother said it’s fake, but how can it be” he said staring at thestone.

“Rite it does not have a name, like you told me, let’s name it” he said.

“Are you crazy I think it has a name all ready but we don’t know it” he questionedhimself.

“Yeah we do. I will call it spooky black ”he said putting his hand around Peter’s

shoulder.

“That name is really odd” Peter puzzled.

“No it’s not its spooky black I call it. Cool name too” he said.

“No it’s not and it’s lame and I don’t think that’s its real name it sounds stupid ” hesaid.

“Fine do whatever you want you want I am telling you that is the real name if it” Mosaid.

“Don’t be stupid, I am telling you that it’s not the real name” he tried to make apoint “Just look at it look have spooky it is” Mo said pointing at it.

“Ok, ok you win its spooky black like you said it” he said “really it’s not” Peter saidto himself “I am going home if you need me just call” as he left the room.

Peter was walking from Mo’s house and again he had that feeling that someone isfollowing him “who’s there!” he yelled. But there was no answer “who’s there!” heyelled again but again no answer. He looked at the disserted street and went inside.

“Peter Mrs. Smith said that you must pick up Gary from kindergarten” she giggled

to herself “did you hear what I said!” she yelled at him.“Yes I did, thank you” he said going back outside. When he was walking two blocksfrom his house to pick up Gary he had that strange feeling again that someone iswatching him. He looked back and saw nothing “who is there!” he yelled again
