Breakfast at the hotel.8.30am Transfer with our guide to Selinunte Archaeological Site:Part of the Parco Archeologico di Selinunte, this is one of the most

impressive archaeological sites in the Mediterranean, with 2,500-year-old ruins lying on a beautiful high plain overlooking the sea on Sicily's southwest coast near Mazzara del Vallo. Upon entering the park, we can see the impressive Doric temple known as Temple E. Climb into the temple and get an idea of the scale and history of the building. There has been no new develop-ment around the site, allowing us to get a sense of the ancient town that existed thousands of years ago.The visit will include the Temples of the Oriental Hill and Acropolis.

11.30am Transfer to Planeta Ulmo Winery, for a tour of its illustrious vineyards near Men�, wine tasting followed by a light lunch.Nestled at 400 meters above sea level, the vineyard was built in 1995 near the banks of Lake Arancio, on an ancient riverbed whose slope and lime-rich chalky soil ensures perfect drainage and growing conditions for the vines. Indeed, with over 250 hectares of indigenous and international varieties of grapes carefully tailored to the speci�cs of each terroir, it is no surprise that Ulmo is still the reference for Planeta’s most renowned labels; wines like the company’s signature classic Planeta Chardonnay—a single-variety super cru that has become a symbol for the winemaking renaissance in Sicily—, or the world-famous Segreta Bianco and Rosso, named after th e woods surrounding the estate.

Breakfast at the hotel9.00am Transfer along the Northern shoreline to discover the Salt Road between Marsala and Trapani and learn the ancient technique of separating the salt from the sea as practiced by Greeks and Phoenicians.

“You will be stunned by an array of landscapes featuring the widest possible range of colors. The green of the Mediterranean scrub, the brown of the patches of earth which at times becomes ocher, the in�nite shades of blue in the sea, and the white of the salt pans of Nubia and Mozia. There, where the sea meets the earth, you will �nd the “Via del Sale”.

Visit of the lively sea resort, Trapani, on the way to the hillside village of Erice. Erice is the site of an amazing mountaintop fortress overlooking the sea. It has all the charm of a medieval town, with winding streets, gorgeous �owering courtyards and more than 60 small churches. It also known to be the home of the Cult of Venus… Today the town is well-loved for its pastries and other sweet treats. We have time to explore the village and some souvenir shop-ping before lunch on the beautiful terrace of the very popular Elimo Ristorante known for its home-style Sicilian specialties, bu�et and panoramic view.

Transfer to Palermo and check into our hotel, Villa Igiea *****: a turn-of-the-century palazzo at the perimeter of vivid Palermo, the foot of Mount Pellegrino and the Gulf of Palermo. CANCELLATION POLICYInland Travel strongly recommends that travelers purchase trip cancellation/interruption insurance.

Every cancellation must be noti�ed to Inland Travel by email.Within 30 days of receiving written notification of the cancellation, refund will be processed.

CANCELLATIONSIf the cancellation occurs between March 1st, 2021 and May 1st, 2021: Inland Travel will charge 65% of

the trip. If the cancellation occurs from May 1st, 2021: Inland Travel will charge 100% of the trip.

We strongly recommends that travelers purchase trip cancellation/interruption insurance. Every cancellation must be notified to Terroirs Travels by email.

DURING THE TRIPEach tour that will be cancelled, modified, interrupted or shorten for any reason by the client during his stay, will not give right to any refund or any compensation. Each additional fee due to a modification or

addition requested by the client, will be charged to the client.

UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCESTrip costs do not include items not specified in the itinerary. Although Inland Travel will make every effort to adhere to this itinerary, on rare occasions it may be necessary to make an adjustment to these arrange-

ments. Should such adjustment be necessary, a substitute will be offered when and where possible. Inland Travel cannot accept liability if war, terrorist activities, civil unrest, exceptional closures of airports and seaports, and any other event outside the control of Inland Travel, occurs and causes cancellations,

delays, holidays changes or extensions.

HEALTH AND CAPABILITIES

INLAND TRAVEL requires that all participants be in good physical and mental health to participate. While we encourage participation of disabled passengers on our tours, some itineraries and sites are simply not accessible by wheelchair or motorized scooter. When reserving your tour, please inform INLAND TRAVEL of any physical disabilities and limitations so that they can help you determine the appropriateness of the itinerary you select. If such limitations cause you to require additional assistance, INLAND TRAVEL asks that you plan to travel with a companion who can provide assistance.

PASSPORTS AND VISASEach individual traveler is responsible for obtaining any travel documents and verifying entry require-ments necessary for each country of travel on your tour. INLAND TRAVEL is not responsible for providing this information or documentation. Each individual traveler is responsible for any expenses incurred as a result of delays or itinerary changes related to his lack of appropriate travel documents and are therefore ineligible for any refund from INLAND TRAVEL.
