Healthcare facilities employs close to 10% of the overall working population, and treat over 10% of them per year. The cost for acquired infections in these facilities is over 9.8 billion dollars and at least account for 90,000 deaths per year. Studies show that by implementing strategies in Healthcare facilities, they can save both money and most importantly lives.

At The Wellness Habitat Company we have studied these issues and put together environmental systems and strategies which can both reduce cost and deaths by controlling and reducing infectious diseases and viruses caused by harmful bacteria spread in Healthcare facilities.

Healthy light exposure alleviates nurses subjective distress associated with

night-shift work. (Leppamaki et al., 2003).

In one study, community-dwelling older adults exposed to either bright white light

or dim red light on 12 consecutive days experienced substantial changes in sleep quality

(Satlin, Volicer, Ross, Herz, & Campbell, 1992). Waking time within sleep was reduced by

IMPLEMENTATIONOur team coordinates the delivery and installation of all our products. We consult with, train and supervise our client’s constructions teams to ensure that regulatory and Wellness Habitat standards have been met.

SANCTUOUSTM DESIGNATION INSPECTIONUpon completion of systems installation, we conduct an inspection to confirm compliance with Sanctuous protocols and issue an official Seal of Approval. This allows residents to live confidently with the knowledge that their home is a certified WELLNESS HABITAT.
