personal savvy Syns?

On page 46 we mentioned that, once you become a Food Optimising expert, you’ll find yourself making different choices around food (and activity too). You might find your tastes change, you’ll almost certainly find your choices change. Where, in the very early days of Food Optimising, your 10 or so daily Syns may be used for favourites you feel you simply couldn’t live without – like crisps, chocolate, alcohol or cake – you’ll very soon find yourself switching to healthier choices, enjoying more of your personal savvy Syns.

Savvy Syns are still Syns – they still have the same Syn value and need weighing, measuring and counting using the average values, as usual. Importantly though, they provide some beneficial nutrients or they’re more satisfying than other Syns. They also tend to be ‘safer’ choices – less likely to catapult you back into old ways of eating that caused you to gain weight in the first place.

Everyone’s savvy Syns will be different because they’re personal to you. What’s true for every member, however, is that with unlimited Free Food, your measured Healthy Extras and making the switch towards enjoying savvy Syns more often, you really will be building healthy habits that will see you safely to your dream weight and – most importantly – help you stay there for life.
