Health & Wellness
Florida State University espouses the value vires, signifying strength—moral, physical, and intellectual. Thus, health and wellness are central to the Student Affairs mission, and research suggests that purposeful activity during college enhances good health habits later in life (Pascarella & Terenzini, 2005).
