AACI IMPACT BY THE NUMBERS

“AACI has empowered me, given me hope, and created comfort in my life.”

2014 ANNUAL REPORT

Dear Friends,

We are in a transformational time at AACI! As we concluded the end of a year-long 40th anniversary celebration in 2013, we received unexpected great news that AACI was awarded renewable federal funding for our primary care health center to become a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). We have embarked on expanding our health center from nine to 16 exam rooms which will allow us to double the number of patient visits in two years.

At the same time, we fulfilled a goal in our strategic plan to open a new, additional office in east San Jose and offer an array of services including mental health counseling, problem gambling treatment, youth services, and information and referral services. Our new office is located at 749 Story Road in San Jose, and our plan is to

add primary care services to this site in 2015. It has been a year of tremendous change but also one of excitement as we continue to fulfill our mission to make the community healthier and stronger.

These achievements would not be possible without you – our AACI family of supporters. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to you for your contributions, volunteer hours, and partnership. As we embrace AACI 2.0, I hope you are inspired and proud of where we have been and where we are going.

Sincerely,

Michele LewPresident and CEO
