January 2019

New year celebration was hosted by Shri Y.N.Thakare, Pr.AG wherein the staff of the O/o PAG

(Audit)-I, Mumbai had gathered followed by the resolutions and wishes for the entire year.

Health Check-up Camp:- An Ayurvedic Medical Health check-up camp was organized by Unicare

Health Centre on 02.01.2019 in this office premises. Most of the Officers and staff of this office

& other sister offices availed the benefits of various health tests to know the status of their health

for early diagnosis and prevention of diseases. In certain cases, the doctors also prescribed

Ayurvedic Medicines.

An exhibition-cum-sale of the products of khadi and village industries was organized on 5th and

6th of January, 2019 for the staff in this office. A variety of Khadi products were exhibited and

displayed for sale.

A Two minutes silence was observed in the office on 30th January in the memory of those who

laid down their lives in the struggle for India's freedom.

Haldi Kumkum

Literary and Recreation Club had organised Haldi Kumkum function on account of Makar

Sankranti and all the ladies of both the offices i.e. O/o Pr.AG (Audit) I & III had participated.

February 2019

A lecture cum interactive session on awareness of sexual harassment on working women was

conducted by Dr. Srilatha Juvva, Professor, Centre for Disability Studies and Action , School of

Social Work - Mumbai Campus, Tata Insitute of Social Sciences on 7th February 2019 educating

the ladies on gender discrimination and also the reasons of formation of Women and Gender

Development Cell (WGDC).

Literary and Recreation Club had organised Cricket Day for both the offices i.e. O/o Pr.AG (Audit)

I & III.

IAAS trainees from National Academy of Audit, Shimla had visited Mumbai from 15.02.2019 to

17.02.2019 for training purpose.

A high tea was also organized for the trainees in the conference hall of the O/o the Pr.A.G. (Audit)-

I, Mumbai by all the HOD’s and Group Officers of IA& AD offices and had the following trips.

March 2019

The International Women's Day (8th March) was observed in this office. An interactve session

was conducted by Shri Prashant Gujare on various issues pertaining to parenting wherein most of

the staff had attended. The lecture also covered “parenting pyramid” i.e. bonding and trust, health

and hygiene, values and culture, learning and autonomy and excellence of children in fields like

sports, business, academics or art.

A Management Development Programme on Personal and Professional Effectiveness

through Emotional Intelligence was organised on 15th March 2019. Dr. Vipul Vyas, Ph.D

(Emotional Intellience), MBA, HR Facilitator and Life Coach, Corporate, Director Mann-The

Mind, very effectively addressed the issues related with - Inter-personal Relationship, Team-

building, Conflict Resolution, Personal Effectiveness and Spiritual Orientation along with

Nationalism. The content, delivery and material offered was excellent and transformational. It

made a great impact on the 36 participating Officers, through application oriented subject

knowledge alongwith spirituality at work. They were motivated to perform the duties as

mandated by the CAG of India, with a strong sense of accountability and ethics.

June 2016

A lecture was organised on Cyber Crime, Cyber Security and Cyber Laws by

Shri Sachin Patil (IPS), DCP, Cyber Crime Cell, Mumbai Police on 6th June 2019 to create

an awareness on networking crimes and other issues where people get trapped unknowingly .

21st June 2019 was celebrated as the International Yoga Day. Ms. Sonali Borade, Yog Teacher

from Swarajya Samajik Sanskrutik and Shikshan Sanstha ,Thane was invited to conduct a Yoga

session and spread awareness among the office staff about the benefits of Yog in our day to

day life.

August 2019

Sadhbhavana Diwas was observed on 20th August 2019 and a Sadhbhavana Pledge was

administered to the officials.

A half day training session on Disaster Preparedness was conducted by the officials from

MCGM on 21st August 2019.

September 2019

AG, Mumbai won the West Zone (Winner) and Inter Zonal (Runner-up) 2019-20 Badminton

Tournament

A district training programme was organized for the officers of IAS-2018 Batch . Seven

Assistant District Collectors participated in the training session.

October 2019

Vigilance Awareness Week was celebrated from 28.10.2019 to 02.11.2019. Poster, Essay and

Quiz Competitions were conducted and full office had participated in the competitions.

November 2019

Shri Zubin Taraporewala, Auditor won the Thane Distrct and Mumbai Distrct Ranking Table

Tennis Tournament 2019-20.
