NUTRITION
A well-balanced diet is the most important requirement for healthy living. Good nutrition helps reduce our risk of getting a large number of diseases, from diabetes to heart disease.
There are six major classes of nutrients: carbohydrates, fats, minerals, protein, vitamins, and water.

may be classified as monosaccharides, disaccharides, or polysaccharides depending on the number of monomer (sugar) units they contain.
They constitute a large part of foods such as rice, noodles, bread, and other grain-based products.
Protein
are used by the body for growth, and to help build and repair cells. Proteins also help keep
muscles, skin, hair, and nails healthy.
Proteins helps your body repair and grow. Besides the muscles, protein can be found almost anywhere in the body because it is used to make cells.

FATS
Fats are used to help the body store vitamins and build tissue to protect important organs.Fats are also used by the body as a "backup" fuel system.
Vitamins are needed to help the body use carbohydrates, fats and proteins and to help body systems function. Many kinds of vitamins are essential to your diet.
VITAMINS
Minerals are used by the body to build new cells and control important body processes.
MINERALS
water dissolves some vitamins and helps bring nutrients to the cells in
your body. water also helps you swallow & digest foods, and helps
keep your body temperature normal.
