BUTTERFLY BARRISOL® BY CHANTAL THOMASS

Part of the Luminaire collection designed by Chantal Thomass for Barrisol®, in association with Os-ram, this butterfly gives off a soft light, creating an enchanting atmosphere. Featuring a dimmer switch, it can also produce a much stronger light when required.This giant, majestic hanging sculpture is a magical way of lighting up a room.

CHANTAL THOMASS BY BARRISOL® AND OSRAMThe unveiling of the butterfly lamp designed by Chantal Thomass and made by Barrisol® using Osram LEDs, London, 13th July 2017.The dress was designed by Chantal Thomass for Barrisol®, and also uses Osram LEDs that were jointly installed by our electrics department and Osram’s.

BARRISOL® Clim® - BARRISOL® ’S 12th MAJOR INNOVATION

Continuing in our success, Barrisol® are proud to present to you our innovations for 2017.

Using Barrisol® technology, cooling and heating is now possible without the need for an ungainly ins-tallation.

The Barrisol® Clim® is completely invisible – the walls are freed up and you are guaranteed differences of no greater than 1°C between the bottom and the top in heating mode and 0.5°C in cooling mode. The air speed generated by the Barrisol® Clim® is almost imperceptible, allowing unprecedented levels of comfort.

We are proud to announce a new distinguished award for the Barrisol® Clim®!We were awarded the prestigious Janus Industry prize by the Natio-nal Design Institute, which recognises the most innovative projects.The Janus award is a label of excellence for companies and organisa-tions who are making sustainable progress that will prove benefi-cial to people, industry and society.In accordance with the evaluation process, the experts on the jury eva-luated to what extent the Barrisol® Clim® design brief represented a creative, innovative solution.The assessment criteria, referring to the “5 E’s” – Economy / Esthetics / Ergonomics / Ethics / Emotion – were analysed by the members of the jury.
