List of documents required to be submitted alongwith application form

The GENERAL DOCUMENTS required for all cases

1. Latest Original Pay slip/certificate of the applicant/co-applicant showing all allowances and deductions

duly authenticated by drawing & disbursing officer (With statement ‘Original Pay slip submitted to HDFC for

Home Loan’ – This should be duly signed)

2. Form-16A

3. Passport size Photograph

4. Bank Statement (Salary A/c) for last six months & all other updated bank statements showing loan

recoveries if any

5. Proof of residence (Anyone of the following Ration Card, Passport, Driving License, Present Telephone/

Electricity Bill)

6. Proof of Identity (Any one of the following Ration/Pan Card, Identity Card issued by employer, Voter

Identity Card, Driving License, or Passport)

7. Processing Fee

For CONSTRUCTION/IMPROVEMENT/EXTENSION CASES

1. Photocopy of Registered Title Deed (Sale Deed / Lease Deed / Gift Deed / Partition Deed /etc.)

2. Copy of Approval/Sanctioned Plan

3. Cost Estimate for the proposed Construction /Improvement / Extension

4. Photocopy of Patta & land Tax Receipt

For REFINANCING

1. Demand letter from earlier financer to close the loan with details of current outstanding & list of documents

held.

2. Photocopies of all submitted documents

3. Statement/Proof of payment history for last 2 years or less

For PURCHASE OF READY-MADE HOUSES from Dev. Authority or Private Builders:

1. Photocopy of “Agreement for sale”

2. Photocopy of Allotment Letter clearly indicating the cost of BUA of the House

3. Photocopy of Money Receipts of the amount already paid & bank statements showing debit of O/C Amount

For LAND PURCHASE / REPURCHASE FROM A DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

1. Transfer permission from Dev. Authority

2. Affidavit from purchaser to submit the NOC for Mortgage

3. In specific cases of land purchased from Dev. Authority, allotment letter from Dev. Authority has to be

submitted along with Updated EC and Registered Title Deed (if available)

For EXTENTION/IMPROVEMENT LOAN ON CORE HOUSE FROM DEV. AUTHORITY

1. First Allotment Letter indicating the BUA and Cost

2. Possession Letter

3. Money Receipt of Payments made to Development Authority

4. Affidavit

5. NOC from BDA to mortgage the house in favour of BDA

For SELF-EMPLOYED CASES

1. Photocopies of I.T. Returns for last 3yrs.

2. Photocopies of Computation of Taxable Income for last 3yrs.

3. Photocopies of Profit & Loss A/c, Balance Sheet, Schedule of Depreciation for last 3 years. (All Documents

to be certified by a Chartered Accountant)

4. Partnership Deed (Incase of Partnership cos.) alongwith audited profit & loss A/c balance sheet of the firm.

5. Business writeup.
