Programme Description: The programme was organized by Gramin Vikash Trust(GVT) at Krishi Vigyan Kendra(KVK), Chittorgarh as a Technical Guidance on Package of practices of important crops and technical training on Organic Manure production & use. Farmer Training program under HDFC bank CSR project in Pratapgarh inaugurated on Saturday by Dr.S.K.Agrawal, Sr.Scientist & Head KVK, Chittodgarh. A brief lectured by him on organic manure and agronomic practices in crops. He discussed on cow urine, FYM, neem importance and use in crops. Natural use of neem leaves, stem, seeds, root extract is very important of control insect pest and disease also told by him. A spray of cow urine, chili, garlic extract also control crop insect pest. He was discussed about a different type of insect (biting type, sucking type and piercing type) and disease (fungal disease, bacterial disease, and virus disease) and given their treatment. Using 100kg FYM+2.5kg Trichoderma and keep overnight broadcasting in the field the next day for disease control. Use of pheromone trap to control the pod borer o chickpea. For the chemical control endexocarb water used 10ml/15 liter. He was discussed about chickpea vanities (Pratap chana 1, RSJK-44, RSJK 974, RSJk-985, GNG-1581, GNG-1958). Mr.Azad Singh Bhati, Scientist, KVK Chittodgarh give a lecture on kitchen garden and importance. He was discussed how to grow vegetable in a nursery in a year. Make 12 nurseries and grow different vegetables seed an eg tomato, chili, loky, brinjal, radish, carrot, spinach etc in a small land. All the farmers were visited different units of Krishi Vigyan Kendra. Dr.A.K.Bohra, Scientist, KVK, Chittodgarh give a lecture on nursery management and importance in agriculture. A nursery is a managed site, designed to produce seedlings grown under favorable conditions until they are ready for planting. Using of pro spray for the vegetable seedlings. Dr. Suresh Chandra Jingar, Scientist, KVK, Chittodgarh give a lecture on animal husbandry, different breeds and their characteristic of a cow( Gir, Tharparkar), Buffalo(Soorti, Murrah), Goat(Sirohi, Sojak) and sheep (Sonadi, marwadi).

Mr.Madan Keer Goswami, CUTS International, Chittodgarh discussed about consumer rights and customer responsibilities. He was also discussed organic farming, marketing channels. Mr.Anil Khere PM, GVT Pratapgarh was discussed about the method of Jiva Amrut, vermicompost, vermiwash. Mr. Nemi Chand Dhakad, He is a progressive farmer and lives in sripur village(Camera) tehsil- Nimbaheda, district Chittorgarh. he has 30 biga farm. He cultivated commercially strawberries, guava orchard, tomato chili. He has different units of agriculture like vermicompost, sprinkler system, greenhouse, nurseries fruits packing unit. He visited their farm to all farmers. All the farmers were very happy after visited Dhaka farm and inspired. he is also selling plants to other farmers. All the farmers were visited different units of Krishi Vigyan Kendra and were very happy to listen during the session.
