NATIONAL HOUSE CONCERT SERIES (HCS) BENEFIT GALA

PRIMARY CAUSE: PTSD

“Healing the World – One Song at a Time”

Singer/Songwriter Jessie Tylre Williams founded the National House Concert Series (HCS) Benefit Gala in the summer of 2014. After months of research and due diligence in her efforts to find a reputable charity, Jessie decided PTSD was her charity of choice. The first initial PTSD Benefit Gala was held in Innisfail, Alberta in March of 2015 at The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #104.

The objective of the HCS is to create a National awareness of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as an illness and to aid in the removal of the stigma associated with it. To fund existing and recognized programs focusing on the recovery of PTSD, and education on different mental health issues, suicide prevention, and to help create new facilities where we can help the individuals facing some of the struggles associated with PTSD.

There has been no outside funding to launch this National PTSD Benefit Gala and no financial support other than the monies directly from Jessie Tylre Williams that has been used to operate these Gala’s. Jessie has already invested tens of thousands of dollars into these Gala’s to ensure its continued operation.

Many people with mental health problems and mental illness often experience stigma — negative attitudes and the negative behaviors they produce. Stigma spreads fear and misinformation, labels individuals, and perpetuates stereotypes. More than 60 per cent of people with mental health problems and mental illness won't seek the help they need; stigma is one of the main reasons.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), although it has always been linked to those in combat, it can affect anyone who has been subjected to any type of trauma. Military Personnel, Paramedics, EMS workers, Police Officers, firefighters, people in massive disasters and trauma in any form that one can not adjust to daily life because the PTSD debilitates them. PTSD can affect anyone and at any time after serious trauma has affected him or her.

Our goal is to reach as many towns and cities across Canada to not only create awareness but to support programs that do such a vital effort in educating the public and helping those living with PTSD and other mental health issues.

We have the support from Wounded Warriors Canada, Can Praxis, ANAVETS, Tri-Service Military Association, other organizations and businesses that want to play a vital part in our goals by endorsing our campaigns for fundraising and awareness.

The proceeds we raise with our 50/50 draw and/or our Charity Photo Booth will be kept within the Community to help support local charities involved in PTSD. Other events throughout the night including our Silent Auction will be used to raise money at the Gala. The proceeds will go 100% to distinguished PTSD organizations.

We have since toured to areas in Alberta, Manitoba and will continue on to other Provinces, cities and towns in Canada. Our Annual Gala’s commits us to continue the work we are doing with PTSD for many years to come. With support and help from people like yourself, we can help to support the families, friends, those suffering from PTSD and the organizations which provide aid to this silent killer.

Thank you for your time and we look forward to working with in “Healing the World – One Song at a Time!”©

Let’s all work together to make a difference!

Happy Thoughts,

Jessie Tylre Williams (Planetary Persuasion)

WHO IS PLANETARY PERSUASION? Like any other business, music is a business as well. Planetary Persuasion embodies the Artist Jessie Tylre Williams. Planetary Persuasion is NOT a non-profit organization; it is the business component of Jessie Tylre Williams. To properly assess myself as an Artist, to pay my taxes, and to be able to continue to contribute to communities across Canada through my music, it is vital element of who I am. Planetary Persuasion is who I am and is what encompasses my vision as an Artist and in “Healing the World – One Song at a Time”©

In addition, because it is Jessie Tylre Williams the Artist who has funded this Program in its entirety, it is through Planetary Persuasion that we are able to properly receive monies for tickets sales, merchandise, POS sales, etc., and also allows us to use the business as the body that donates the money to PTSD organizations.

Dear Jessie Tylre Williams

On behalf of Wounded Warriors Canada I want to express our unwavering support of Planetary Persuasion & Jessie Tylre Williams in support of Wounded Warriors Canada. Only through the hard work and dedication by yourself can we continue our mission to support Canada’s ill and injured military members and their families. Without Jessie Tylre William’s desire to give back to those who have served their country bravely by hosting this event, we would be unable to bridge those gaps through a wide range or programs and services that find solutions for our military members in need.

As a privately funded Canadian charity it is solely through the generous support of our partners like Jessie Tylre Williams that we are able to fund the programs and services we provide annually to our veterans and their families in need. In your efforts you have truly shown that you stand strong in the belief that every veteran counts and that you will always honour the fallen and help the living.

Sincerely,

Scott Maxwell David Macdonald Executive Director National Partnerships Wounded Warriors Canada Director Wounded Warriors Canada

MUSIC DERIVED FROM THE HEART AND SOUL’ Canada’s Eclectic Singer/Songwriter Jessie TYLRE Williams is taking the Music scene by storm. Jessie has taken music to a whole new level with her focus more on using it to help others. From International dates to a Canada wide Tour to support those living with PTSD, Jessie preaches the importance of how music can heal and transform lives.

No stranger to the music industry, Jessie has won many awards including 2 Nasahville TCMA awards for Most Outstanding Showcase Entertainer of the Year and Most Promising Female Artist of the Year. “The awards are really nice, but they are not what drive me. What drives me is the desire to change an all too often dim world. It’s important for me that people know and understand I want to be the difference that I want to see in the world, and Im so blessed that I can captivate a larger audience through my music.”

Jessie surrenders her strong sense of ability through authentic acoustic sounds and melodies derived from the deepest realms of an intimate and personal journey. In both her writing and performance, Williams demonstrates her raw and inspiring experience of survival and determination that drives her to create original, empowering material. Each song, like a separate chapter, unfolds a story of continual hope and courage, moving each listener through her lyrical exposure of emotion.

This Manitoba born girl, but now Alberta’s sweetheart, followed a gypsy lifestyle of movement from a young age and turned to music as a way of grounding herself. As a passionate singer and songwriter, Williams preaches the potential of sound and voice as a healing medium and gains her musical influence through lending a hand to help others that need support during their own hardships.

“It feels so good to give back, to leave a piece of me wherever I go. Something I feel so blessed to be able to do, to use music as a way to connect with people and help them through their hardships with hopes that I can inspire others along the way. We must never stop believing. Where there is life~~there truly is hope. Music is such a powerful force and it can really heal and transform lives.”

Williams will enlighten us all as she exposes the underlying truths of the heart and strength of the human spirit as she takes us down the road less traveled and reveals the inner peace that music can bring.
