Wedding Ring

Insertion Technique:

Make 4mm incision to reveal bone. Clamp tissue.

Drill bone to depth of 5mm. Use guide mechanism to insert 5mm self-tapping screw. Suture wound.

Contraindications:

Bone will calcify around screw threads in 6 – 8 weeks preventing removal. High risk of septicaemia due to open nature of wound. Tissue trauma indicated.
