Practical Creative Solutions (PCS) brings together global experts in the field of emergency response and life-long learning. In collaboration with Escola Nacional De Bombeiros (ENB), PCS are pleased to offer their Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) Awareness and Operations Training course. This course meets the NFPA 472 Standard for Competence of Responders to Hazardous Materials/Weapons of Mass Destruction Incidents and provides attendees with an overview of the regulations and requirements relating to Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations. Attendees will learn about the importance of a hazard risk assessment and use resource manuals and guidebooks to determine the operational needs of a particular incident as well as developing a basic understanding of hazardous material terminology and accepted practices.    Who Should Attend This course is particularly suited to those who could encounter an emergency incident involving HazMat or WMD. They will need to recognise the signs and react quickly to protect themselves whilst calling for higher trained specialists and securing the area and personnel. This person will recognise the need to protect the emergency responders, nearby people and protect the environment from further impact of such an incident. Key elements of the course include:
