Go to the X-ray department at Raigmore hospital.

You may need to take off some clothes.
The nurse will take you to the changing room to do this.The nurse will give you a gown to wear, if you need one.
The receptionist will tell you to sit in the waiting area.
They will tell the staff you are there.A nurse will come to the waiting area to get you.
The Ultrasound scan is done by a special nurse called a sonographer.They will tell what will they will do.
They will ask you your name, date of birth and address.

The sonographer will ask you to lie on the couch next to the Ultrasound machine.
The sonographer will sit next to you.
The sonographer will put a warm gel on you.
They will put a probe on to your body.
The sonographer will put the probe on to your body they want to look at.
The probe is like a camera that look inside your body.
It will not hurt.
