Haunted Woods Troop/Crew information AT CAMP MUNHACKE Thank you for participating in Haunted Woods at Camp Munhacke 2018! The following information is for Troops/Crews who will be running a station: Before the Event: All participants must register for the event online. Registration is typically done as a unit, as each unit sets up their own station. Units can elect to run a traditional scare station, a craft station (unit provides craft), or a hospitality station (unit provides s’mores, cider, music, story- telling, etc). Check-in will begin at 5pm at the Campmaster Bulding All participants are required to bring a completed BSA Health Form Parts A&B to the event. Any person without a completed health form will not be allowed to stay overnight. If you have any dietary or health requirements (food allergies, CPAP, etc) please reach out to the event coordinators prior to the event so we can accom- modate you. There will be a Scoutmaster/SPL meeting Friday night starting at 9:30PM. The location of your station will be assigned at this time. Units will have until the Haunt begins to set up their stations. Units are responsible for providing their own tents and food for the event. Cabins are available for an additional cost. Costs: Boy Scout/Venture Scouts $10. Adults $10. Cabin Bunks additional $9 During the Event: The first 90 minutes of the event is no-scare. This time is designed with younger kids in mind. At this time, there are no masks allowed, no jumping at walkers, and no intentional scaring. You will be notified by event staff when Scare Time begins. Every walker will be given an orange flag. If he/she waves the flag during Scare Time, please do not attempt to scare him/her. At no point during the event are Scouts allowed to grab, push, follow, or touch walkers. This includes projectiles of any kind. Cracker Barrel and Awards will be Saturday night at 9:30pm. After the Event: Units are responsible for cleaning both their campsite and station, including trash removal, before checking out. Sites will be approved by event staff. Patches will be provided for each paid participant. You will receive your patches upon checkout. We expect that the Scout Oath and Law will be upheld throughout this event. Any persons being un-Scoutlike may be asked to leave without refund.
