Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS)This system helps to alert the driver when the vehicle deviates from the traffic lane and may automatically assist in steering the vehicle to stay within the lane of travel.

Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB)Equipped with pedestrian and cyclist detection, the Cerato is able to sense the potential for a collision and will apply emergency braking to avoid or reduce the effects of a collision.

Blind Spot Detection (BSD)The system can detect approaching vehicles within a distance of 70 metres. A visual and / or audible warning will alert you when they enter your blind spot zone, if you're indicating to change lanes.

Driver Attention Alert (DAA)The system will sound and display a warning in the instrument panel that it is time to take a break from driving when it senses the driver's attention level has been significantly reduced.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)Activated when you put the Cerato into reverse, the system will warn you if it detects any traffic approaching within 20 metres of the rear of the vehicle, which can help avoid accidents when reversing out of a parking space or driveway.

Smart Cruise Control (SCC) Radar sensors at the front of the vehicle monitors the distance between you and the vehicle ahead. To maintain a pre-determined safe distance, the system will automatically apply the brakes to reduce speed.

Apple CarPlayTM & Android AutoTM Apple CarPlayTM and Android AutoTM connects certain apps on your iPhone or Android smartphone to Cerato's infotainment system. It equips your vehicle's radio with display and control functions when they're plugged into your Kia's USB port.

8" Colour LCD touchscreenA vivid 8" colour LCD screen is shared by the rearview camera and the audio system. The large screen makes it simple to select and operate audio system controls with the touch of a finger.

Rearview camera & parking sensorsThe rearview camera helps you keep an eye on what’s behind you while reversing. Dynamic guidelines help indicate the path that you’re going and will react as you back up. Ultrasonic sensors on the front and rear bumpers detect objects or pedestrians and indicate your distance.

Climate controlThe dual-zone climate control allows the driver and front passenger to adjust their own personal temperature settings, while the system automatically maintains the desired climate. Available on EX, GT Line and GT.
